Mary- and I see you won!!!! I did not scrool through to find the actual winning challenge......neat pics.

Nope, wasn't me. It was Mary (Iluvdisney) who won. It was a lot of fun. It was a screen shot from Muppet Treasure Island and he had it covered with squares and removed one every other day.

Good Morning All - Sunday was a great day to DIVE,

We dove off of Palm Beach - "Flower Gardens" - sahllow dive - 45-54 feet.

There was a class on board so 6 of the folks went with their instructor. Two were after lobser so that left the dive master and Sam and I --- It could be named the morray dive. We saw many small babbies - about 4 inches long, if that. both green and spottted. And the largest Green Morray ever - His (Her) head was huge - 24", 36" - It was hiding in a cave until the dive master said "coochie-choochie) or gestures to that effect. It must have been over 6 feet long...

And cute tophats, basket stars all curled p for the day, and a teeney nudabranckh (?) and of course other reef fish.

Jm, I did good on air...Still had 2000 so we swam the trench. Surfaced with 1200...due to bottom time. But the seas were choppy so guess who did not dive the second time....Yup, that was me....I had a great first dive and after being thrown about on the boat did not feel like diving the second dive, so I curled up and wnet to sleep....

Saturday we went to an exotic plant show in S.W. Broward. Fortunately, Sam only purchased one small (now) palm tree. The orchid and bromliad I purchased do not count....Next weekend we must get out and cut back the jungle.

And what were you all up to?

Sounds like fun and great news on your air. Practice, practice, practice is the best thing you can do for air consumption!!

I was sent this message below. I don't know how true it is, but thought you all might be interested in it.

NEW POISONOUS SPIDER IN THE UNITED STATES

A spider bite...please read...........

And you thought the brown recluse was bad!!!

Three women in North Florida , turned up at hospitals over a 5-day period,

all with the same symptoms. Fever, chills, and vomiting, followed by

muscular collapse, paralysis, and finally, death.

There were no outward signs of trauma.

Autopsy results showed toxicity in the blood.

These women did not know each other, and seemed to have

nothing in common.

It was discovered, however, that they had all visited the same Restaurant

(Olive Garden) within days of their deaths. The health department

descended on the restaurant, shutting it down. The food, water, and

air conditioning were all inspected and tested, to no avail.

The big break came when a waitress at the restaurant was rushed

to the hospital with similar symptoms. She told doctors that she had

been on vacation, and had only went to the restaurant to pick up her check.

She did not eat or drink while she was there, but had used the restroom.

That is when one toxicologist, remembering an article he had read,

drove out to the restaurant, went into the restroom, and lifted the toilet seat.

Under the seat, out of normal view, was a small spider.

The spider was captured and brought back to the lab, where it was determined

to be the Two-Striped Telamonia (Telamonia dimidiata), so named because

of its reddened flesh color. This spider's venom is extremely toxic,

but can take several days to take effect. They live in cold, dark, damp

climates, and toilet rims provide just the right atmosphere.

Several days later a lawyer from Jacksonville showed up at a hospital

emergency room. Before his death, he told the doctor, that he had been

away on business, had taken a flight from Indonesia , changing planes in

Singapore , before returning home. He did not visit (Olive Garden),

while there. He did, as did all of the other victims, have what was determined

to be a puncture wound, on his right buttock.

Investigators discovered that the flight he was on had originated in India .

The Civilian Aeronautics Board (CAB) ordered an immediate inspection of

the toilets of all flights from India , and discovered the Two-Striped Telamonia

(Telamonia dimidiata) spider's nests on 4 different planes!

It is now believed that these spiders can be anywhere in the country.

So please, before you use a public toilet, lift the seat to check for spiders.

It can save your life!

And please pass this on to everyone you care about.

Just checking in from Seattle... what a great city!!!!! Mt. Ranier is beautiful...
Staying at the Fairmont-Olympic... wonderful hotel... meetings all day today, but now we're off to the Mariners game tonight. Meetings all day tomorrow, then off to the Space Needle, then to the Stinson-Green Mansion for a Murder Mystery Dinner. Wednesday's meetings are at the Redhook Brewery, then its off to a Native American place that does dinner and an 'edu-tainment' program. I love these meetings!!!

Weather is beautiful... 70's and sunny, no rain in sight!

Well - we made it back.... had to work today... that was no fun....

Anyways... What a great time - When Lauren and I met up with Jason on Thursday evening - we just hung out at VWL. Friday morning it was off to the airport to pick up Kristin while J/L went to AK> Kristin and I met up with them and we spent the day there. We then went back to get ready for MNSSHP - which was great. Had an awesome time. It was fun seeing everybody in their costumes (adults included).

Saturday we went to MGM - ate at Sci Fi and then joined up with the Scubas. Jim, Sharon and I lounged at the pool while Matt. Jason and Kristin went to Wide World of Sports to watch WVU win. Lauren and Lisa went over to the Magic Kingdom to kill a few hours. We all then regrouped for dinner. It was hilarious - had a great server with an appropriate attitude. The food was good.... and it was fun watching Lisa embarass the waiter. I agree with Jim - he thought - I'll show this little girl how to do a handstand - little did he know!!!

Sunday we went to EPCOT for a few hours - walked on and off of everything without a wait. Lunch was at Alfredo's - nice - but maybe a little heavy for the heat. It was funny watching Kristin out drink Jason - he's such a lightweight.....

Definitely another fun memory brought to us by the friendships we have nurtured on the DIS.

GOOD MORNING!!!!

I guess it takes heading west by 3 time zones and STILL staying up til 11 to get the 'good morning' post... that's the only way I'll EVER get it, as I certainly can't be the first one up on the East Coast!!!

Just got in from the 10-inning Mariner's/A's game... good game, great suite, great food, and great company! Cab driver brought us to the wrong hotel, which resulted in Mr. Toad's Wild Ride... Seattle-style. Good for a laugh or two...

Kiki Karen - I wondered WHAT on earth you were doing up - but then the time zone change gave it away. Glad you could can have some fun with your trip.

I'm off to the West Coast as well........

but.......

no time change for me.... :teeth:
