Lots of partying, lots of dancing and the sunset - I mean sunrise was pretty this morning.

We walk down to the ocean and stroll north admiring the sunrise and the morning's flight of pelicanss - North they always fly north. I think we need a study of this habit - and it's potenital affect on the rotational spin of the moon. So, please send me grant money and I will live by the sea and take notes.

Laura, Alicia is beside herself with jealousy. Tori told her you have tickets for the So You Think You Can Dance Tour. It isn't coming here. But here's the important question: are you Benji fans or Travis fans?

Jim, that could work. I assumed diving would be involved, but when we checked rental car rates for that time of year it was scary. Now Alicia has to decide if she wants to eat breakfast at Boma Sunday morning, or go diving. But maybe Sharon and Lisa could come along and do a park day?

I was secretly hoping Travis would win, but I was thrilled when they were the final 2 - how about that routine they danced together (that was genius!) I think Heidi and Natalie were the 2 best females. How amazing is it that Benji and Heidi are cousins and Benji used to dance in Heidi's dance troupe?!!

Hi folks - a wonderful eveing sailing into the sunset - friends booked a sunset (got it right that time) sailboat. We had Fairy Tale to celebrate their anniverary - the dolphins escorted us out of the marina..... ahhh, relaxation - wonderful.

Hmmmmm - I'm going to be honest here: I adore them both!!! Actually, Benji and Heidi have been dance partners since they were little kids. They won the US Open Swing Championships three times together. And Dmitry was Heidi's latin dance partner prior to the show. Alicia liked Travis and Allison, but Benji is our favorite here. And our favorite won for a change!

Mike and the kids (and Mike's sister) are heading to Cedar Point today. It's raining here (and there) now, but looks like it will pass through by the time they get there.

We got some bad news this afternoon. The doctors got the results of my Dad's CT scan and it appears that his cancer has spread to his lungs. More prayers and Pixie Dust, please!

Now let's see if this comes out right...

Good morning all!

Emily finally perked up on Fri. She missed school on her birthday though. I can't believe I have a 6 year old!!! Her party was yesterday. It was at Michael's. We had 11 girls there. They each decorated a tote bag. It was fun. Afterward, we had 1 family come over to the house for dinner. Today is a day of relaxation ... well, if you can call it that ... I've got to do laundry & clean the floors & my bedroom!

I'm glad you were able to go to your party! I didn't know Michael's did birthday parties, Wow! Maggie would love it!!!

On an aside note, I never got to go to school on my birthday it was just a few days after school let out for the summer. I always felt I missed out on something special.

I talked to a teacher friend, trying to get an inside track on summer vacation for 2008. The Texas state legislature mandated schools start on the 4th Monday in August beginning 2007-2008 school year. She believes we'll finish mid-June in 2008

ETA: ARRGGGG I finally get my wish - school on my birthday and I don't want it!!!! (dying cockroach)
