Just popping in one last time to say Happy Turkey Day and safe travels to everyone. I've got to go pack. We're aiming to be on the road by 6:00 tomorrow morning.

Kevin, thanks for the info on the earphones. Bruce will NOT be getting the set that you want. That's too much $.

Got the truck back yesterday. Quite disappointed tonight when I went to fill the gas tank & something is just not right!!! They had to replace the gas tank door but I'm not sure what all else they replaced. The gas cap no longer sits in the nice little cradle that it had before. So I'm not sure if the door is not the right door if they replaced the cap too. I'll be complaining & taking it back next week.

Same here! October is not a good month for us to travel, so I'm taking the rejection as a "sign" that it's not meant to be!

Hey - what's with the cold weather down there? We'll be there in 10 or so days and I'm looking forward to some warmth. Yes, it's cold up here and getting colder. I don't mind it as long as I'm dressed for it. So can someone in FL order some warmer weather for early December? Thanks a bunch....

Tonight was an interesting night. My first experience with IM.

Matt was typing to slow to his "friend" so I stepped in and helped him out. He now has a movie and dinner date on Sunday. After the movie she is coming over to the house and Matt is cooking.

I got a little concerned when she started telling me what she was wearing.

It was a lot of fun and laughs with Matt. I'm glad he gave me the opportunity to IM his "friend". I wonder what color her eyes are?

Hey guys...I did it!!! I booked a hotel on Hotwire dot com. We are staying at the Hyatt at MCO our last night (Dec 9th) and I originally booked it with Hyatt at a AAA rate of $179. I got up the nerve to try Hotwire and got a rate of $69. What a difference. I love it. I am no longer a Hotwire virgin. Look out.

Well........the chicken comb injection was sooooo much fun, I think I'll go have it done FOUR more times.
Holy cow. He had me sit up to do it, sprayed some of that stuff that "freezes" the area (like that helps!) then he stuck his finger in between the joints to find the spot he wanted to jab......and....whammo! And since the fluid (Supartz) is kind of thick, the needle is bigger (around...and the opening, too) than most I've seen.
My reflexes work well, though, because I kicked him. I *think* I got him in his thigh, but I wasn't looking, so I'm not sure. Next time, he'll probably shoot me standing up, just in case!
And it bled more than I thought at the injection site, too.
It hurt going in, but it went pretty fast.....so I didn't think it was all that bad. Until I tried to stand up.
YEOW!!!! Sort of felt like I'd been hit in the knee with a club. Like Nancy Kerrigan.
Jay had to help me to the car...and then I had a throbbing for about an hour after. Unfortunately, it was rush hour, so we couldn't just get straight home. We stopped and ate at Islands.....and by the time we left, it was more of a "pressure" feeling...and the kind of feeling where you'd want to "pop" the joint???
Jay needed to stop at Office Max, and I wasn't crazy about walking around with him...but if I didn't go in, he'd never find what he needed and it would be twice as long before I'd get home....so I went in with him and found out that walking on it by that time actually made it feel better.
Today it just has kind of a "full" feeling in the joint and is a tad sore to put weight on.
I hope this works...if it does, it WILL be worth it in the long run, and much better than surgery.

Ok, this is just wrong on so many levels.

The most fun to have is when the kids forget to turn off the IM thing and I'm online. One of their friends will pop up and interrupt me while I'm doing something....thinking it's either Jordan or Jared online....and I get to "mess" with them.
