Jared's finally legal for the Stack!

Until this series of posts, I thought Jared was 13 already. I thought that he was just short of the stack age on the Christmas 2004 crusie because I know he was in there with Matt. Shows how much I know. I have always thought he was closer to Matt's age than to Lisa's.

That just means he knows how to act mature...some of the time.
I think having the older sisters (especially the oldest one) helps.

Oh Amanda... I tend to believe that was meant to be too- that you met this man and he was so sweet and generous. Really makes you think!

I think you're probably right- since the CC was used that day (argh!!!!) it does sound like you were pickpocketed. And since you were robbed- you can no longer blame yourself. This isn't like you dropped it or anything you could have really prevented from happening. Someone stole from you- so no more feeling bad about it, 'kay? I cannot believe how some people are. It makes me so angry that they lifted your wallet.

I don't have to be anywhere until 4 p.m. and I don't know what to do with myself.

Actually, not true for me. Up at 4 am. Left for running at 5:30. Ran 8 miles. Went to nutritionist talk. Then to work, got home at noon.

Busy day for me, but starting to slow down and enjoy my afternoon drink.

The plan is to copy over the DVD's and send them out. Do you want a copy?

I guess you don't remember the story about when Matt was with us at WDW last August. I think that was when Matt found out how old Jared actually was. I teased him, "Jared could be dating Lisa one of these days". Matt was truly shocked, "not MY Lisa"!

Amanda, your story about the homeless man is very touching. It's almost like he was an angel placed there to help you deal with your trauma.

I watch it sometimes, I love seeing the little kids. Yesterday a little boy was telling his Mom that he was "2", and held up his fingers. She asked him "what will you be on your next birthday?", he smiled proudly and said "a DUCK!" You can't script that stuff.

Just checkin' in. I've been paroozing this past week and not posting.

Amanda - sorry to hear about your loss. But the advice posted is right on. It's annoying, frustrating and you blame yourself, but turn the page and go onto the next chapter. Don't beat yourself up about it.

Not much else happening on this end. Rain, rain and more rain if you really wanna know. It's good for my grass seed for the back yard, but all the sports are getting cancelled. Oh well.

Sounds like pizza is here for dinner. I better get going. I wish we were still on the Magic.

Amanda -- thanks for updating us on your situation. I feel so bad for you, but how refreshing that God placed this man in the subway for you to talk to that day. People all the time say they would like to be able to have a sign from God, and I do believe you received one. I know you are a strong person and will get through this. I also know this is easier said than actualy done. I have had you in my thoughts and prayers. You are so very lucky to have such a loving and suportive husband to help you get through this as well.

Long day today. Ashley had a swim meet today and then we go back again tomorrow. The meet ran exceptionally long today. We were there at 7:00 a.m. and didn't leave until after 1:30 this afternoon. By the time we stopped for food and drove the 35 miles home, it was almost 3:30 p.m.

It was a good day for her. She dropped 6 seconds on the 100 back, 2 1/2 on the 200 IM and then about 4/10ths on the 50 fly. She added about 3/10ths on the 50 breast. She got a 5th in the 100 back, 4 in the 200 IM, 4th in the 50 fly and 5th on the 50 breast. We have 3 more events tomorrow.
