:lmao: :lmao: Oh my gosh.....you guys have got to go see the question "professorandmom" just asked on my trip report thread. :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl: :rotfl:
I thought a little mini-cam would have been great above the door. That way the responses and comments could have been recorded..... I'm sure there was some confusion!!! :happytv:

This is exactly why we felt like we missed out. You all are the greatest. Paul (my DH) calls you my "friends" and we've never "met" any of you! But there is definitely a bond. As the boys say, "feel the love"!

Good to see you posting Susan!! :thumbsup2 Hope all is well and improving!!! :cheer2: :grouphug:

Remember back before you and 2700 of your closest friends gathered in the DCL terminal, anxiously anticipating the start of the first ever Double Scoop cruise? It seems so long ago... :sunny:

I posted this on my trip report thread, but I really thought it needed repeating here:

Well, this is my thought on having not done quite a few things...and on us as a group not doing some things that have been done on other cruises.

We may not have done it all....but as far as I'm concerned, the Blabbermouth group was a lot more about QUALITY than QUANTITY. We didn't do it all, but I've never known a group of people, and strangers at that, who cared more about eachother, and who had more fun getting to truly know eachother.

Have to agree with you. Only met a few but what a great bunch. Still recovering from fire and everything else. When is the next one for 3 in a row again Stacey and Virgil?

That would be fine with me!!

Didn't you like the kids and dad's scene?? I swear they choreographed that........ The both had the same expression! :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

You would think we were embarassing them. :rotfl:

Well, I'm back from Cleveland. My great nephew's 1st birthday party went well. We were the "cool" family....the only one who got him toys. EVERYONE else got him clothes. Needless to say he threw all of their gifts on the floor as soon as he opened them! :)

Got some sad news while I was up there. Mike's grandma (who had a stroke while we were on the cruise) aspirated last night and was in the ER. Mike called me around 10:00 this morning to tell me. He then called about 10:30 to tell me she had passed away. She definitely is in a much better place. She has suffered from Alzheimers (sp?) for a few years. This last year was very bad....at Christmas she had NO idea who anyone was. Plus she was nearly blind, so that didn't help. Arrangements are pending. :(

Prayers for your family so that they may smile with the memories of the time spent with their Grandmother and wishes that the sad times at her passing will soon fade as they celerate her life.....

That is very nice of you and Sharon. Keep Lisa locked up.;)

What a shame that they have to travel so far out of their way, though.

When I sent Sharon an email about them coming her response was "OK". Nothing more or less.

They got here at 1:30 this morning. Sharon and Lisa did not even hear them. The guys are all still asleep so Sharon and Lisa will not even see them.

The guys will be spending some time here in the morning. They want to go swimming before heading to Atlanta. They can just close the door when they leave. :sunny:

Jim - I'ts great to have friends....I am sure they are muh appreciative....

Guess Sharon has to do the laundry this weekend, since you are escaping to WDW.....

Good morning everyone! Jim that is really cool that you have opened your home to this group. I'm sure they appreciated it. Sharon must be a sound sleeper. I'd be awake in a second.

My sister is 11 yrs older than me. She had her dd at 26. Mary had Cody at 22. It is possible. My sister is NOT liking that she became a grandmother at 49! ;)

So he's telling us that it's medically OK to shove Silly Putty into your ear... maybe he can he come up with a reason why it was medically OK for me to shove a button up into my sinus cavity when I was 2???? I could get my mother off my case about it once and for all!!!

A Big DITTO! It was really nice knowing that there was usually someone around to talk with if you wanted company.

While this was our 2nd Disney Cruise, this was our first for an active thread. Since a "do-over" is being discussed, what are some things we did as a group you would like to "do-over" - wouldn't do again or would like to add? You can also include - the months leading up to the cruise chatting on-line.

I'll have to post mine list later - off to work!

Good question, Monica! Yeah, let's all come up with a list. I'll bet there will be some great suggestions! :thumbsup2 Off to ponder....... :teeth:

Two things I'd like to see. One we talked about before the cruise and one after.

  1. A group photo. Did you guys see the one in shutters of the neon green shirted people. It rocked!
  2. A DIS meet on the 2nd sea day. Kind of a catch up. Maybe someplace quiet on the cruise. Like one of the lounges. It seems you get in a groove and just don't see everyone. This would be a good way to catch up with everyone.

Awww...I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to make you more sad.

How are you feeling lately, anyway? Getting back on your feet??

Oh, please don't feel bad---I'm not more sad, just wanted to let you know that we all agree with what you wrote. It is true.

I am able to laugh without too much discomfort now! :lmao:
Driving hasn't happened, but mostly because I'm a chicken. I'd rather wait until the pain is all gone. Motrin is my around the clock friend! :goodvibes

I feel so much better than I did when I first got home! Standing up straight again.... :woohoo:

BTW, when I saw the video Scuba sent us, I cried when I heard you all yelling down to GaRry. Like I said, you are the best!!!

Love,
susan

OK, I'm going to try! Here's my list:

“Keepers” from our Blabbermouth cruise:

Mark & Mary's website
The T-shirts/Polo shirts
Linking dining
Friday night meet(s) - Radisson, Hyatt, any others (?)
Saturday morning breakfast at Grills – or other restaurant(s)
3 pm DisMeet on board
The private label wine

Add:

Group photo(s)
A 2nd DisMeet (I love Mary’s idea of 2nd sea day)
Also, some informal Meets scheduled (this might help keep everyone feeling connected to the group)

Prior to the cruise:

Would it be possible for us to have 2 threads going? One like we have now – a basically “anything goes” type of thread! And one that is expressly for coordinating meets, dining, excursions, wine orders, t-shirts, questions specific to the group plans. This might be easier for some DISers to keep up with. I know Mark & Mary’s site was invaluable for keeping us informed – we’ll still need that too!!!

Off to work now! :wave2:

Thank you, Kevin.
Improving all the time and the boys are a huge help. Adam yells at me if I even think about doing the laundry! They are spoiling me....but don't tell them. :rolleyes1

Also, Adam wondered how is Alicia's toe doing?
