Ran some more errands at lunch. There just aren't enough hours in the day!!! Our plan was to leave tomorrow night but I have this feeling that we won't be getting out until EARLY Fri. morning.

This afternoon I still need to pick up my dress from the cleaners & pick up some vodka. Someone that I work with suggested that I try vodka & lemonade so I did last night. I really like Mike's but was not interested in lugging all of those glass long-necks. So that vodka will have to do.

I agree with everything Karen (OM) said but let me add a bit. The bad part for Katherine is that her highest praised songs were ones she done in recent weeks. Even thought Taylor did songs he had done before they were earlier in the competition so they seemd fresher than hers.

Last year the finalists did do the same song but I don't think it was that way the year Clay and Ruben were in the finals. I don't think either song was that great but I do think Taylor did a better job with his than Kat did. What I don't understand is with the amount of money idol makes and the talent they have behind the scenes why they can't come up with songs that are perfectlly tailored (no pun intended) to the individuals. That would have made it a much better final and really help launch their careers.

Megan had called and reminded me tahat there is an urgent care by our little grocery store. so 167.00 and 2 prescriptions later i am now told too many times that i am the luckiest person.

really?? i dont feel so lucky. ifeel sore. like needle cat poop. i was also told that it wiill hurt more tomorrow. goodie.

Bruised. wrist, knocked right shoulder for a loop and bruised thigh.

vicodin and naprosyn. and if i take them now I won't get any work done and will be higher than a georgia pine.

SO glad to hear it's not broken! You ARE lucky, even though you don't feel like it now. And not just because you get to cruise with this awesome bunch of people ths weekend.

OK, we're one day closer to leaving, and no closer to being packed. Same stuff still piled up in our room and in the guest room. But that's it. I think it'll come down to starting putting stuff in suitcases tomorrow night, but not really finishing until Friday. (Our flight's not until 8:30 at night.)

At least today I finished the door signs (had them laminated, put the magnets on them). One thing down.

Still have the other gazillions on the plate, though.

The REALLY funny thing is, I thought of adding some sort of comment to that effect to the bottom of my post!!

Actually, a few reasons...
That's the SAME day as Palo brunch. (too much Palo in one day)
That's formal night and we'd rather do it with the kids....and not a double dip.
And, I'm not a HUGE fan of Palo dinner.....except for the chocolate souffle....which I can get if I can convince someone in a suite to order me some......hint hint hint hint!!

speaking of Palo brunch...can't remember what time I have that....10:30 maybe. I REALLY need to write that down!
