Safe travels to everyone who's on their way out! You'll find GREAT weather when you get here... highs in the 90's, lows in the 70's... typical Florida May weather.

So, yes, Maria, Typhoon Lagoon will be a definite... just don't forget the sunscreen for that Northeast-sun-deprived-skin!!!!!!

Packing is 90% done... now its just sit and wait while the rest of you start your vacations!!!

Hey Mary - I'm going for my fist ever pedicure tomorrow. I've heard from my friends that once you have one, you could be hooked. Time will tell.

Wish I had time to get a pedicure before the cruise but I've run out of time! Maybe I can sneak one in when we're at my sister's on Fri.

They gave us beach towels, caps and Sensi sandals. And a catered meal. Pretty cool.

Great pics Stacey. I can't believe there is a pool at a baseball field!

No water? No pop? No juice? NOTHING to drink???? :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

I'm sorry, but a Sunday night date at a mexican restaurant without children does not call for a glass of water.

A pedicure is a great idea...Maybe I can treat Maggie with one for her birthday on Wednesday...

Hey Jim, I have one bit of packing panic you can help with. Can you check inside the button bag and see if I packed the DIS meet sign. It is a fairly large cardboard sign folded in 3rd's. I don't think it put it in the bag but I can't remember where I put it.

Thanks!

GOOD MORNING CRUISERS

We get to leave for airport in just a little over three hours. I need to write a couple of bills before I leave but other than that, I think we are ready. I didn't go to sleep until about 11:30 last night and I was sleeping great until for some odd reason my tv came on at 3:00 a.m. Okay, didn't think I would go back to sleep, but I did, then at 5:00 a.m. Charley's radiation pager went off (has to have one for work). That darn thing makes such a loud vibrating sound. Knew I wouldnt be able to go back to sleep after that . Oh well, time to get started and do all of our last minute things.

I don't think we will make it on Saturday morning to Grills. Don't want to eat a big breakfast since we get the buffet lunch on Saturday.

Safe travels to Pam & family & the Tinks!

For our port days (probably not CC, though), I'm planning on taking my teeny weeny Sony digital rather than my huge honkin' DSLR. Even in its bag, it's practically invisible, so I'm somewhat comfortable leaving it burried under the rest of our junk in our beach bag. Plus, we rarely all leave the stuff completely unattended. We usually have one person "left behind" for one reason or another when the other two go swimming.

Can you give me some details about your Sony digital? I've been looking for one, real cheap. :rotfl:

I'm only working 2 1/2 days this week - I got subs for my classes today for a training that has since cancelled. Darn - didn't offer to take my classes back...Feeling kinda guilty but, after attending the training Thurs-Sunday, I've lots to catch up on!

DH ran the kids to Target, new shorts and sandals...and packed the snorkel stuff...So, we're getting there...

Well, this is for us folks! We are out of here in about 30 minutes.

Hope everyone has a wonderful, uneventful journey to the port!! See you all on Deck 10

Gotta catch a ride on a Jet Plane!!

4 days of work left for me. I feel a lot better about it after coming in on Saturday. Hopefully nothing big will happen and it will be an uneventful week. Still have house cleaning to do so i don't come home to a messy house.

I checked and it's not in the bag. :confused3

I don't think Molly ate it, unless it smells like a bone.

Thanks for checking Jim. I didn't think I packed it (but that would have made the most sense in hindsight). Just didn't want to tear the house apart only to find it sitting in FL. :lmao:

I know the feeling. We were planning on leaving on Wednesday a.m. but thanks to Katrina the school year was extended by 5 days. My girls have end of year testing Friday but should be done by noon. I have the O.K. to get them out after that and hit the road. We plan on arriving in Orlando between 10 and midnight Friday before the cruise. The girls have thier dance recital on the Sunday following the cruise so no extra vacation time there either. (Guess I have to start planning that expedition everest trip as soon as I get back :) )

Celebrated Maggie's birthday (Wed) last night with a family dinner. She chose Sushi :thumbsup2 and she wanted to open her presents early. The rest of this week is busy with end of school and volleyball stuff so, we tend to drag out birthdays around here.

She wanted to take two special friends down to Galveston for dinner at the Rainforest Cafe and instead of receiving gifts, give gifts to the Ronald McDonald House. I really wanted to honor her wishes because I was so proud of her! (Her Brownie visit must have really meant something to her) But, couldn't get the other two families schedules coordinated with ours this week..Maybe when we return, really dragging out her birthday.
