:woohoo: Now, I'm ready to go!

Stopped by the Volunteers' used bookstore while at the Library. Picked up a stack of books for the cruise!! :woohoo:

time to pull out the suitcases!

Even though we are wearing summer stuff now, I'd rather pack the clothes we plan to wear on the cruise early rather than frantically wash at the last minute.

That's me, doing my 3rd load since I got home, not cause we need it but cause I don't want to come home to it :teeth: :teeth:
We leave tomorrow so try not to chat too much!!!!

Forgot to brag on the kids a bit yesterday...

Both Mike and Maggie auditioned for the children's chorus in our theatre company's "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat" -

Got the call yesterday afternoon - they're in!!! :cheer2:

This will be a family affair this summer, John as tech director, I'm props mistress and the kids will be on stage!

:woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

Thanks for the welcome! I've been so busy (with having a baby and all, who is now 1) that I haven't been able to post or even read posts in over a year! I'm anxious to see how things go with having a 1 year old with us this time.
Hi Belle,

This will be our second Disney Cruise. We are sailing with me, Dh, DS(a8)&(1), and DD 3. On our first Disney cruise we had our DD with us and she had a blast. We didn't use the nursery though. Our DSs were 8&6 and they went to the labs and they loved it. I shopped with the DD while the DH did excursions with the DSs. We can't wait to sail again.

My girls are 6 and 3, and they will be bringing their princess attire. The last time we cruised, they brought way too many dresses, so I think this time, I'll let them each bring 2, and that's it.

My girls are almost 6 and 3.5. I guess I'll be packing each 1 princess costume.

Here's another DH who will NOT be wearing a tux!! He didn't even want to wear a suit last Disney cruise!! Direct quote: "You mean I have to wear a stupid suit????"!! :rotfl2:
My DH is not wearing a Tux either. He is still stressing over the decision of bringing one or two suits.

Hey KikiKaren,

You're targeting a young audience with that advertising! Today we were at Kroger picking up milk. Right there next to the milk case is a Bud display. At the top of the display, there's a red Bud blow-up lounge chair (for a pool). Emily said "Mommy can we buy one of those? Please! Please!" Uh ... no ... it's just a display.

Bubbles, bubbles, bubbles.....did anyone post a response? Are we brinign bubbles for Sail Away....

Inquiring minds want to know...

I responded, no bubbles for us, messy and slippery if spilled.

I'm DISing on the laptop from the cold, icky basement as we have yet another tornado warning for another 15-30 minutes. Well, at least the siding is already off most of the house. But they've already re-sided the garage. I'm hoping it will all pass north of us. DH got called into the firestation for storm watch. This is where we were 6 weeks ago. Good thing I set the DVR for AI and AR tonight. Caleb thought to grab Scoopie so he is safe.

Sounds just like us, hate dressing up and I have to do it this Friday and Saturday night and always feel way underdressed - last cousins Batmitzvah all 3 daughters and the mom had full ballgowns, I was waiting for Cinderella to show :teeth: :teeth:

Yes. Someone posted that they are annoying to adults and that the floor gets slippery if the bubbles spill. That's all I heard about it.

That was me and just what I had heard people on board saying, I have taken them before but the kids didn't use them so I schlepped them for nothing.

I will be taking glow necklaces and bracelets for the night parties. :thumbsup2

We don't get the opportunity to dress up much at all, so it is a treat for me to see DH in a suit. I'd much rather see him in the tux, but I'll settle for the suit.

Anyone with little girls ever take princess costumes? I just don't feel like lugging those.

Ang

No doubt you've gotten a slew of answers on this already (I'm only 15 pages behind), but we've never taken princess costumes for Erin. They just take up too much room. Even though she's a princess nut and will stand in line to see them any chance she can, she's never thrown a fit to not be dressed like them, even after seeing other little girls all dolled up. For dinners, she's perfectly happy wearing her regular dresses.

I didn't even think about bringing bubbles. I can just imagine if those leaked in the suitcase!

Anyone else bringing glow necklaces??

I haven't started packing and just put another load of laundry in, went upstairs to the kids rooms and nearly blew a gasket, all the clothes on the floor so they threw some down the shoot so I washed them. Less to do next week when we get back and have to pack for the cruise. :teeth:

Quick question... were the seating arrangements ever posted? I see a lot of people talking about tablemates, and am thinking I missed a post about it at some point. :confused3
