Quick question... were the seating arrangements ever posted? I see a lot of people talking about tablemates, and am thinking I missed a post about it at some point. :confused3

--Samantha
Some people requested tablemates. Others, like me, are just guessing based on the names that came up during the kids' club/lab registration for the persons authorized to pick up kids.

Forgot to brag on the kids a bit yesterday...

Both Mike and Maggie auditioned for the children's chorus in our theatre company's "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat" -

Got the call yesterday afternoon - they're in!!! :cheer2:

This will be a family affair this summer, John as tech director, I'm props mistress and the kids will be on stage!

That's great! Congratulations! Joseph's one of my all-time favorite shows. When I was a kid, I actually had the entire thing memorized. Drove my parents crazy when I would sing it on long car rides. (Hmmm... Guess that's where Erin gets it!) Have fun!!!

Okay, one step closer to being ready, bought a new digital camera today. Old one broke and I waited too long to get it fixed in time to leave. (We leave on the 24th)

Doing the Dolphin Excursion in Cozumel. A little concerned because according to the Disney site its from 9am to 5:30 pm, that is a long day for DD8, DD& and DS4 (What time is Main Dining?) Hope that's not Pirate night. That is a long day but the age cut off at the Costa Maya Dolphin excursion would not allow DS4 to participate.

Still not sure what to do in Costa Maya. Looks like its either jungle beach break or take a cab to a beach on our own. I think we will end up with the Disney Jungle Beach because I am not that adventurous to go off on our own.

Suggestions?

Tornado warning is over, but there is a slew of thunderstorms headed here. Guess we'll be staying down in the cold dungeon for awhile. Basements in 100 yr-old farmhouses are not fun places. I want my happy place on the Magic  ...

My DH is not wearing a Tux either. He is still stressing over the decision of bringing one or two suits.

Jim doesn't "do" tuxes. In fact, in our 19 years together, he's NEVER worn one. But like someone else said, he'll be bringing a dark suit and a couple of ties for the fancier dinners.

No suggestions... I'm not too thrilled with what I've read about Costa Maya lately... and we aren't doing any excursions on this trip... I'm thinking about making Costa Maya an 'at sea' day, and enjoying the ship while its a bit emptier. We'll go ashore for awhile, I'm sure... but not making ANY plans.

We're going to head over to Paradise Beach on our own (or with whoever else is still planning on heading over there) in Cozumel.

I'm sure Ray wouldn't be bringing one if he didn't already own one... but since he has it, he might as well get use out of it...

Guess I'll be one of those who'll be surprised!

AI...

Not at all surprised at the results. Sure was a close one!

REALLY close! Wow! But I wasn't surprised either. Glad the two who are left are the final two. Next week should be good!

Hi All -- wow, you guys were really busy today. I was extremely busy at work. I am a little worried, Amanda hasn't gotten her stuff yet and as of last night, neither had Shiann. Haven't heard from Shiann yet tonight, so not sure if here came or not.

I will be on the phone with the vendor first thing in the morning.

The AI whiteout is below..

I admit to a small amount of surprise. I really have not been impressed with Katherine's performances. She has a beautiful voice, but her songs come off as...wooden. What I mean by that is it's her singing along to sheet music, with a bunch of high 'glory' notes thrown in to show off her vocal range. The Elvis specialist guy, to me, hit the nail cleanly on the head, she doesn't get into the songs at all. Her fashion show every week scores points, but this isn't Project Runway, it's about the singing performance first.

Sounds like us. No plans for Costa Maya day. We'll get off and look around, but nothing that involves leavng the general vicinity of the pier. :)

We just got done watching, and I have to agree with Mark on this. I was really surprised at how close the votes were. I thought that one of them would have gotten a bigger majority of the votes that they did. G'nite all. Past our bedtime.

ok got formal wear packed and ready to go...camera gear swim/snorkle gear and Taylor 100 percent packed 1 person down 5 to go!!!

white out:
Yes....it was close!!! Can't believe that Katharine has dodged so many bullets!!! The GOOD news is....the person who was voted off....most of Elliot's fans will probably switch to Taylor. Just guessing.... wow...dialidol was right on....

Who remembers that Elliot was the one who slept instead of working on the group number? I meant to post that this morning and forgot. and more white out: Remember the twins who were freaking out b/c Elliot was sleeping?? :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: and look how far he got!!!

OhioKaren, more whiteout:

If it wasn't this week for Elliot, it would have probably been next week. He has the singing voice, he puts more personality into the songs than Katherine, but not by much. Katherine won over him tonight by looks alone. I will be very surprised if she pulls it off by that next week. But then again that's how that woman won on Dancing with the Stars, by getting.. skimpier every week. That's a bit too superficial for my tastes.

Ok, this is REALLY REALLY weird.

Mike usually never brings home any of his mail he receives at work (piles of it each day) but he got something in the mail today that just made him laugh....and shudder at the same time. He showed it to all of his partners and they, too, thought it was bizzare!

He brought home a brochure with a picture of the Disneyland castle on it....Seems that the Los Angeles Pediatric Society is having their 63rd Brennemann Lecture Series.

So, there on the front cover is the Disneyland castle....all beautiful and decked out for the 50 yr anniversary....and then the coference subject over top of it....

"PEDIATRIC PAIN, DEATH & DYING"
Ok, everyone thought that DISNEYLAND was a rather odd place to hold a lecture series with that topic!!!
