Yes, the offer still stands. If you get something else, let me know so that we can either cancel the 2 extra seats or offer them to some other DIS'er that failed to get ressies. I'd sort of like a different time but still on formal night. Bruce doesn't want to feel out of place in the dining room if he's not wearing a tux ... sort of wish I could change his mind.

Ang

:rolleyes1 :rolleyes1 Please keep me in mind if you have two extra seats :rolleyes1 :rolleyes1

NICE!! We'll expect a "runway" modeling session from you and Ray!!

I forgot...I wanted to post this picture again....let's get this party started!!

On AI, I've always been an Elliott fan. But last night's performance just didn't do anything for me. I loved Kat's middle song, but really can't stand the rest of her performances. DH and I both loved all of Taylor's songs, but I was too tired to pick up the phone and vote last night.

Ummmmm..... no. Minimum hat order is 100... I think anyone who could find 100 people willing to wear that thing is WAAAAAAAYYYY underpaid in their marketing career!!! (It's labeled as 'concert wear' on the e-mail... OK... can't say I've ever seen THAT one at a Jimmy B. concert!)

Mentally ready, or physically ready? All packed, ready to head out the door? I don't think so!

And another guy, just a couple of tables over, will just be in a suit. No tux here. We'll be the plain couple sitting with the beautifully dressed couple. :)

:bounce: :bounce: No tux for my DH :bounce: :bounce: He is bringing two ties for his suit just to throw everyone off :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

We are, if the offer is still open... thanks. However... we are going to 'attempt' to get a different night if possible, as we would like to do formal night as a family. We are probably still going to dress for formal night regardless, as I don't want to have to bring any extra clothes...

Elizabeth says that she's going to dinner in the dining room that night whether we do or not... gee, I wonder where she gets her independence from????

So does that mean that I'll be the "surrogate" mom at the table? That's good cause I don't have any girls, just boys so that will be cool. I'll get a taste of what it's like to have 4 kids. Good thing it's temporary!!! :rotfl2:

AND, she will be wearing her tiara (so will Lisa). This according to Lisa from their conversation in the middle of a kickball game at school recently.

But you made me think of something I hadn't thought of....does jay absolutely HAVE to bring a jacket for dinner at Palo???? Can't he just wear a shirt and tie? Arrggghhh...I don't want to haul both, either.

From DCL's website ...

What should I wear to dinner?

Dress for dinner at Palo on all cruises:
  • Men: dress shirt or jacket
  • Women: dress or pantsuit
So I think that means jackets aren't required for Palo. But what do I know? I've never been on DCL.

She's more of a mother hen than any of us could ever dream of being... (Elizabeth... not you)

Cruise question ...

I booked the 2-day package at Castaway Cay that includes bike rentals. Does anyone know if the children's bikes have training wheels? I assume that they have various sizes of bikes for kids.

Ang

Yes, the time we rented bikes (a few years ago) they had bikes in every size and the smallest ones had training wheels.

Elizabeth's big concern the other day was, "How do I pack my tiara so that it doesn't get squished"... to which my answer was, "I don't know, Queen Elizabeth... us peasants don't have that problem."

(No, Kev... it's not time to break out the peasant photos again today.)

Just tell her not to pack it and to wear it for embarkation. Problem solved.

Oh no... then I'd get "But Mom, you DON'T wear a tiara with a Double Scoop t-shirt  ".

I think that's a great idea! Would really improve the embarkation photos. But I'm not telling my daughter, she would do that. She just got a new tiara. They're doing a ballet number for recital from Breakfast at Tiffany's. It's cute and little.

Anyone with little girls ever take princess costumes? I just don't feel like lugging those.
