I'm finally caught up from today & everyone is gone. Is everyone else being good citizens & watching President Bush? I'm waiting for 24 to come on.

I took a little "me" time this afternoon. I got back up to the mall area at 3:15. I figured it wasn't worth going in to the office for 45 min. ... besides, what they don't know doesn't hurt them. So I went shopping. I bought a few more outfits for the summer. Need to try them on for DH to see what he thinks. I sort of feel guilty about not sale shopping ... well, I did but at Ann Taylor, not Target. But, DH did tell me I could update my wardrobe, so I took the liberty.

Very good action shot, Stacey. Jared is sort of flying. Kevin gets to take pictures at the dress rehearsal for recital, trying out the sports setting on his new camera. He's looking forward to it. The good ones I got that were posted earlier were all sort of poses. Would be fun to catch some mid-air!

I was having Jared run around yesterday, while I tested the sports setting on mine. Very good results. We expect great pictures of Alicia now!

Thanks for the all of the well-wishes & pixie dust from everyone! My visit went well. First I had a ct-scan done then went to see the dr. The bone fusion as at approx. 75% now. I can do anything now with a few exceptions - no lifting over 50 lbs., no impact exercises & no extreme sports (bungy-jumping, riding a wave runner). The lifting over 50 lbs. is probably impossible for me to do so that's not a problem ... I'm a weakling! I go back in Nov.

I'm feeling good with the exceptions of a few sharp pains every now & then. Dr. said that it was muscles that need to be exercised again. Guess I need to get on that work-out regime ... as soon as we get back from the cruise.

Lookie there .... right back at ya Stacey ... a U.T.O.P. shared with Stacey!!! :Pinkbounc

Ang, so glad to hear that your appointment went well! I know how bummed you must be about the bungee jumping thing, but it's all for the best. :rotfl:

How's Emily feeling? Did she make it through the day at school?

Well, been a busy day here, hm?

On the 'gear' front...
We're not bringing a notebook either. Bringing Mary's Wifi enabled pda, but will get the internet cafe package for onboard. More for at WDW after.

Have the one and only digital camera setup with a 1gb stick, should be more than enough. Bringing a couple of the waterproof disposables for any CC excursion pics.

For the multimedia, we're bringing the Archos AV420, which I've downloaded a bunch of movies off DVD's, as well as some music. It can also serve as portable storage with the optional card reader incase the camera memory goes low.

1 GB!!!! For 2 weeks in Hawaii I shot 25GB of pictures -- I am a memory hog!!! Of couse I am always shooting in RAW format at full resolution. :teeth:

Ah... a geek after my own heart! We have the Archos AV700, and it's great for recording stuff off the Tivo. But we've actually been using the PSP for movies (Jim figured out how to do that one) and music. It's great - like a 4" plasma in the palm of your hand!

Sounds like our group will have no shortage of entertainment options should things get dull on the ship!

I bought the cutest jacket at Chico's just before Christmas, and even though it was on sale, I still felt guilty. My Mom sent money for Christmas about a week later, and she threatened my life if I didn't keep some of the money for myself (I usually give it all to the kids) so I did...I put some money back in the checking account, so I wouldn't feel so guilty about the jacket. Funny how we do that to ourselves.

One of the other moms from Jared's baseball team has an amazing camera, with a monster lens.

She sent me this picture of Jared from the other day. He was caught in a "pickle" between 2nd and 3rd base. He basically flew back to 2nd...and was safe. But you can even see the baseball in this picture. Wow.

Awesome shot!

Awwww, that poor boy playing 3rd base. WHY, oh WHY did Mr. and Mrs. Securities name their baby "Wachovia?" What nationality is that??

Just killing time before Prison Break comes on, so no one tell me what happened, okay??

T.O.P. with some hot cons......and some not so hot........

We are packing lots of books. :cool1:

It's our week away from electronics which is a real vacation for me. Only the cameras for us.

Emily is doing ok. She made it through school. She seems fine but every now & then she'll say her stomach & head hurt. :confused3 Tomorrow night she's having dinner with a classmate & her 2 teachers. We "won that in a school auction. I'm sure she'll do everything in her power to make it to school tomorrow.

Glad to hear that you took Erin to the dr. and have her on the mend.

MINE is the Panasonic 9"...with the swivel screen and all that....but this new one is for the kids...wasn't spending that much. Ended up with one made by Polaroid (never seen that before) and came with wireless headphones that Jared loves. It still was a lot of $$. On sale, I think it was $149.00. Was hoping for something half that price.

That's the only team that didn't put the kids names on the back.

There's a boy on Jared's team from South Africa (I love his Dad's accent!) and his name is Suanu Deeyor.

I got these for the girls ... they cover a good bit ... but, guess KT is out of the little girl age

Ang

NO WAY!! That's EXACTLY what I got for KT....although, sadly, that's the one I had to return. I got her an 8 and the bottom fit perfectly but the top was way too big :confused3 Since it was sold as a set, I couldn't buy a different sized top--and anyway, those were all gone!)

btw, my Sears is the one that has almost NOTHING. In fact, I told someone yesterday that it was a joke to call themselves a Lands' End store--they didn't even have ONE Lands' End girls bathing suit!!

Here's her LLBean separates she got:

And the one we found yesterday at Children's Place:

She just loves the skirted bottoms. Funny, b/c at my age and weight, so am I!!!! :lmao:

B-O-R-I-N-G.................;)

You're just afraid you won't know how to operate anything after drinking all that wine.
BTW...do they let you take your carafe into the rainforest??

It's fun having the longer lenses and such. I make one of these for the kid's teams each year:

Now YOU try sorting through several hundred pictures of blonde girls with ponytails to make sure you get one of EVERY girl. It is amazing that Maggie can tell them apart -- I have to have her sitting with me when I sort them :confused3
