Synopsis: Flickr has made a lot of improvements recently and it would be nice if it were reinvigorated as the central hub of the Disney photography community, as it once was. Disney photography is still thriving, but it's highly fragmented on many different sites. Post a Disney photo on Flickr today and share it on Twitter with hashtag #DisneyFlickrDay (or in this thread, even) to help those in the community discover other like-minded photographers.

Really a great idea. In addition to people posting more again I'd love to see more interaction between everyone in the community. We all have our favorite people's streams we fav/comment on, but we should all try to make sure others feel a part of the community, especially those who are just starting sharing their Disney shots.

Discovery is a big part of it. I've added around 20 new contacts today by searching Twitter for the #DisneyFlickrDay hashtag.

One person even signed up for Flickr today just to participate, and I can tell from his first shot that he's got some serious talent.

I generally try to go through the Flickr Disney groups at least once a week and see if there are any new people posting.
