Well in that case Rachel.....today in Purvis, MS it is going to be a high of 85 with partly cloudy skies.

That's a super cute Fish Extender. Did you make it yourself? We haven't yet done the Fish Extender thing yet, but they didn't seem to be quite as popular back then as they are now. But, I'm willing to play, if others are! I know my girls would be really into it.

I didnt actually put the fish extender together.....me? sew?? But I did manage to decorate it all by myself. I am sure that they are not that hard to make...I just dont sew!!! I am having my sister make (sew) the one for this cruise and I will decorate it . Going with a High School Graduation theme since this is what we will be celebrating. I am constantly reminded of that.....this is HER cruise....NOT mine!!

Definately count me in on the fish extenders. I just have to design mine and make it while kids are at school and while I'm working. This could get tricky. I don't know if I can keep this secret until May.

Do you think we should get a list of everyones cabins so we can deliver our goodies to them? or should we just wander the hallways looking for the fish extenders? Even if some do not have a fish extender we can put our goodie by their fish or hang it on the door or something! Good thing about this is that you are not required to have a fish extender to get a goodie.

What does everyone else think about the fish extenders? I don't have a problem giving everyone our room number. You'll know where we are if I get the door decorated as planned.

Though I have not played the "fish" game before, I think it would be almost impossible not to have stateroom numbers. That's a big ship to just be wandering the hallways looking for fish extenders!
People will think we're drunk and can't find our way "home"!

I am absolutely IN for this. In fact if we need a person to be in charge of organization, I volunteer. I just love this kind of stuff. I lost sleep last night trying to design my extender in my head.

Just for that one Dear Sweet Sister in law, I hope your pool boils over while an alligator chases your dog and the hurricanes blow dog toys all over your yard. But that's okay, you can call me from your pool, but I'll probably be on some exotic vacation and my not have cell phone reception.

You two are killing me! Two comedians!! Okay okay enjoy your sunshine. I was sitting at my son's karate class shivering. I had to go down the street and get a cup of hot tea and put a coat on. Oh Disney cruise, take me away.

Let me get this straight... I still have to:
1. Make Disney magnets to decorate my door
2. Make fish extenders
3. Gather some goodies
4. Find my pirate clothes
5. Find our matching outfits (that one will take some time!)
and while onboard I have to remember to get Rum cake in Nassau and finally get a picture with Jack Sparrow. I missed him by minutes everytime last cruise.

I'm have to figure out how to do this without revealing the surprise. ARGH!!!

Your DEAR, SWEET SIL (the annoying one in the pool) just may be willing to help with many of those magnets. We can do some last minute ones the night before.

And let's face, you and I will likely be ordering the darn fish extenders from ebay. That's one project I will not tackle. Tiggers don't sew.

Finally, you forgot to add "stomach stretching" training to your To Do List!

Crazy question.... how many pockets is the Fish Extender supposed to have? I see all sizes, though mostly 3 and 4 pocket ones.

I thought I'd check back in on this thread. Boy, it has taken off! I can't wait for this vacation. I'm sooooo tired of the cold. It is snowing outside as I am typing.
I think it would be great to meet everyone. I would like to get in on the fish extenders if I have the time to make one. My son would be really excited to find a treat in it!
We will be staying at AKL the night before the cruise; I think someone else posted they will be there as well(?). For any of those first time cruisers, remember to put your swim suit in your carry-on so you can get into cruising mode as soon as you board.

I don't know, but I wondered if it was one per person in your family. I also saw one on ebay that had one pocket for mom and dad and then one for each child (2 on that one). I was thinking of making one with 3 or 4. I did see one that only had one pocket, it was more like a tote back with a mickey head on it.

I will be glad to help you plan this if you want me to. Really all we need is for everyone to let us know their cabin number and maybe the ages of kids incase we want to put in a kid specific item. We can then post it in here somewhere so they will know. Let me know if you need help!

Oh please dont say hurricane! Katrina (which is also my daughters name!) about did us in. I am sitting here with the ac on and I am still hot.....maybe its just hot flashes!! Dont you want to take us on your exotic vacation??
