5/17/03 Eastern Cruise.. Who is going?

Of course I will have to scan the ultrasound image and post it for you all. I don't know how much you will be able to see.

I am so looking forward to sitting out on the balcony and looking out at the ocean and listening to the soft waves!

Looks like there will be quite a few of us at the Raddison on Friday night. Hopefully we'll meet some of you then, or maybe early the next a.m.

How many of you will be there?

We will be myself, sister Deb, her daughter and son in law, Kelly and Cory, and their son Darren.

Counting the days, hours, minutes, and seconds...................

Donna

My parents might be at the Radisson before my husband and I will be.

So, in our family there will be 4 of us.

Exactly 7 weeks from today!

There will be just 2 of us. Myself and DD (adult - sometimes). Oh just 7 weeks from right now we'll be on our way!!!

We won't be getting in until Saturday morning, but it'll be early (~ 9AM).

We're planning on picking out our shore excursions with the family this weekend.

Just 7 more weeks!!! :D

We are a group of 9 from 7 mos to 46. We are not landing at MCO until 10:08am on Saturday. We are leaving JFK at 7:30 am.

I am hoping and praying for no delays. This will the first time we won't be in the first 10 in line in 7 cruises!!!

I just booked yesterday with Rabbit from Yourride.net

He will pick us up in a van and take all 9 of us (he is providing 2 car seats) and all the luggage. Only $80. Splitting this between the two families is much cheaper than DCL transfers. Even with tip it is only $50 per family. We usually do 2 one-way rentals with Avis, but since we are coming in Sat morning I did not want to bother with returning a rental and then taking the shuttle. We booked a 10 passenger van from Budget for the day on our return.

Getting more excited every day!!!

Have just found this board although we have had our reservations for quite some time. This is our first cruise and there are seven of us. Myself, DW, DS 20, DD 18, DS 8, DS 6 and DS 6 (yes they are twins and I don't know if there is a shortcut for that). We are still working on transfers and excursions and just really looking forward to having a great time. I have gotten some great tips from these boards and this looks like a fun group of people.

watiii- welcome to the DIS and the best cruise coming up!
just 7 weeks from right now i'll be at dinner; and I won't be having meat loaf like I had tonight!
Any more thoughts on a meet other than at the Sailaway Party?

Bill....I also would like to extend a welcome!!! I am so glad to see other "young adults". Keri, our DD19 is bringing her two college friends with us who are 18 and 19. Our DS18 and DD15 unfortunately cannot come this time around.

We are also travelling with our friends who have two little boys 7 mos and almost 3 years.

Here are some links to our Western cruise we took this past January if you care to take a look!!! We had quite a few at the DIS meet!

My brand new Husband and I will be arriving at the port saturday morning, travelling from HRH with happy Limo :Pinkbounc

Looking forward to meeting you all, or some at least!

It's Mother s Day today in the UK and Mark is cooking the lunch for my parents and us, DD is helping wash up afterwards ;) so I get to relax!...not as relaxed as I'll be in a few weeks time though!!!!:Pinkbounc :bounce:

Happy Mother's Day to our UK friends!
Any recent cruisers know about locking luggage. I've read those flying down need to have luggage open for the airports; but what about DCL? Do we need to leave things unlocked.

Hi all,

Happy Mother's day to the United Kingdom. Well, just sitting here another dreary day. It's been raining since last night, but better than snow. They were talking snow tonight and tomorrow, but don't know if that's still on.

Oh well, only 16 more days of tax season as of tomorrow, then I will be able to have a life again. The only thing getting me through it is the thought of sitting on deck, with a nice book and saying, yes, it was worth it. Have to pay for my cruise somehow.

Keep thinking, sun and fun.

Donna

Thanks for the welcome Squiggle and MMouse37. I checked out the links and the pictures just make me more excited. I was wondering about young adults as well because they are in that grey area after teen activities but it looks like there will be plenty for them to do.

Woke up to snow this morning. They had been saying that we would have it overnight, but was hoping they were wrong. May also get some tomorrow night too.

Oh, to be on the Magic now!!!! Have a great week everyone.

Donna

Thanks for the good wishes all!

Snow??!!!!!!

We have some lovely spring sunshine hre at the moment, quite unbeleiveable for this time of year:cool: Still not quite Florida though.................

Just booked the shore excursions!!! :)

Here's what we're doing:

St. Maarten:
- Half: St. Maarten Island and Butterfly Farm Tour
- Half: Lotterie Farm Hidden Forrest Tour

St. Thomas / St. John:
- All: St. John Island Tour

Castaway Cay:
- Half: Castaway Cay Getaway Package
- Half: Moochin' off the other half

It was in the 70's and 80's with sun last week - 40's and 50's this week, which is fine by me 'cause it makes me appreciate the vacation all that much more!

My husband, mom and dad and I received our documents by UPS today! Yepee, it is official!
