Temp in the low to mid 80's. No rain, thunder or lightening. A nice cool breeze. Absolutely wonderful weather. Not much of a crowd really either.
We didn't go over until after lunch.
By then the gang was all out and ready-
So we said some hello's
And headed out on safari. The animals were so-so, not the greatest safari ever but pretty good.
These were my favorite pictures.
A mandrill butt.
An elephant under water
An oryx up close
Then we went on pangoni forest trail and saw a ferocious gorilla
Then we went to Dinorama and played the midway games. The games here are much more child-friendly than the boardwalk games.
We rode the dinosaur spinner and went to the boneyard
Saw three more old friends on the way out
had some ice cream and left the park about supper time.
