Hi all.. just to let you know there is a Remy reservation available on disneycruise.com for 8:00 PM on Day 1 Port Canaveral (Sun May 15). We aren't going to take it so I thought I would let our fellow cruisers know. Enjoy!!

Hypothetically - what do we do in the instance they never get back to you? Do we just not deliver any goodies to those staterooms? I went ahead and made up bags for them just in case, since I was sending my stuff down ahead. I didn't want to be without bags for them in the case that they do confirm before the sailing. I will most likely still deliver the goodies regardless... I'm just curious what will everyone else do?

Just found this link for the May 15 cruisers! Also our first cruise ever ... and am glad to see there will be some "tweens" on this date. 12 (almost 13) and 7 year old boys on Deck 6, cat. 8A. My older one can't wait to hit Edge!

if they haven't yet responded for the FE by now... it is unlikely that they are participating or even going on the same cruise anymore.
I think that due to the fact that we had a deadline and they haven't yet responded, it is safe to say that they aren't involved. They were sent PMs that would go to their personal emails that are linked to the disboards too.
I make extras due to anyone who missed the deadline. We have one family who only just found the boards a few weeks ago on the 2nd leg of my back to back (May 19) and I am using the extra for them so they can get a few goodies as they missed the deadline too... ( a few of us are so they will get something at least every day )
I won't be delivering to anyone who hasn't responded though ... wouldn't want it to go to the wrong room and have someone not happy (ya never know)

So I am trying to figure out what this "FE" is all about? We are new to both cruising and the DisBoards ... is this something I should know about, and should have signed up for?

I have enough gifts for everyone who initially signed up plus some extras. I'll probably deliver to everyone on my list, then give the extras to CMs for the pillowcase signing or our Stateroom Host. As for the 4 people who haven't reconfirmed... They DID sign up right? They just haven't confirmed it? I plan on walking by the listed staterooms and if they have a FE I'll still give them my gifts.

I like the Land's End AquaTerra brand because they have so many choices for matching tops & bottoms, and have the swim short or skirt option. They also have short sleeve rashguards too, to match. Trying to cover as much as myself while still being swim-friendly!!

Message going out re: FE to everyone via email... posting condensed version here as well.

Hi everyone – I REALLY need to make sure everyone is on the same page with this exchange. The signup deadline was April 15th. To keep it fair for those who are spending time/money on their gifts, please plan to follow through on your commitment. If you feel you are unable to participate, I need to know by this weekend – April 30th – so we can generate the final list. I don’t feel we need to police each other to make sure gifts are delivered but let’s try to make sure that no one is disappointed. Even if you find yourself short on time at the last minute, I’m sure most would appreciate a package of candy or stickers for the kids, etc. If you need ideas, check the threads on the Dis. The Dollar Store is a great source of inspiration too – it’s amazing how many “little everyday things” we wind up using on the cruise!

If you have not already confirmed with me, please do so ASAP. You know who you are. Unconfirmed participants are highlighted in RED below and on our cruise website (private URL removed)

If I don’t hear from you by the 30th, you will be dropped from the final list. Sorry to sound harsh, but I really want to make sure there is equal reciprocation. I want this to be FUN but fair.

If you can’t commit…if LIFE has gotten in the way, hey – we all understand that things happen… just let me know so I can communicate that out to everyone.
