We will be staying at Pop Century for a few nights after the sailing... We were gonna crash with the in-laws, but their house is sooooo small - we'd rather spend a few bucks and stay on property.

Hey everyone - the roll call is updated now - we have some new friends joining in!

I will send out a preliminary roster with detailed info this week as well as FE exchange info so that those of you who are doing something detailed for cabins/kids will have the info you need.

On another note, how many of you are doing Beach Club Villas post-cruise? I seem to have noticed quite a few answers in the questionnaire... we are staying 5 days @ BCV and I think we'll probably see a few of you thereabouts

As of right now,Palo: brunch is available for tables of 5 -6, dinner - tables for 1-2 & 3-4 is available every night.
Remy's has dining available for tables of 1-2 & 3-4 on day 1 (6pm, 6:40, 6:50, 7:20, 8pm & 8:10) day 2 (8:10) day 3 (6pm, 7pm & 8:10) day 4 (7:20 & 7:40)

It is nice to know we aren't the only people staying at WDW after the cruise, we will be on property at CB until the 22nd.

I have started a little pile of stuff mainly bath suites, and I have one pinned up in my closet as motivation to shed some pounds...I don't know that it is working.

We have rented a car.. so it will be parked during our B2B but we are also staying 3 days at AKLV before hand as well as the 1 night stay after the May 19th cruise.

Well poo...or should I say pooh? The only ressie I could get is Palo for Pirate night. We were looking forward to dressing up as Pirates, tho probably not going to the "party" (heard it was pretty crowded)...now not sure what to do. My inner-child would rather dress up in pirate gear than a cocktail dress Guess I'll just hold the ressie and see if we can make some changes when we get on the ship. I REALLY wanted Remy for our anniversary (the 16th)...we both aren't very thrilled with Nassau, so I was going to pamper myself and get prettied up for our big "date" *sigh* Oh well, best laid plans! Wish us luck when we get on board!!

We were able to book the parasailing and Castaway Cay catamaran snorkel adventure though...I'm excited about that!! BUT, me and DH both need to lose some weight so we aren't over the 375 tandum weight limit We'd be okay now....but no telling after eating on the ship for a couple of days!!

I'd really like to meet some of you'all.....I'd really like to make a bingo date with someone, if your interested. DH loves his afternoon naps, so it'd be a fun thing to do while he's re-charging his batteries. I know it's going to be difficult to plan a big meet with everybody going every which-way!! Any ideas?

My son will be 14 on our CC day. We are not doing an excursions in Bahamas, as we will be happy exploring the ship.
I will try not to ask too many silly questions.

First one- How do I get a great magnet for our door??
Second - Do I need to book excursions on CC ahead of time- Parasailing??
Last for today- How far in advance do I do online check in??

Thanks so much. So excitied to cruise. Just paid in full on Monday so I was holding off until I knew it was definite.

Welcome aboard! I'm always in awe of people who can keep a WDW or DCL secret, as I would TOTALLY slip up and say something or just get too giddy one day with excitement and bust out with the news. Look forward to hearing how the reveal goes

I'll try to answer some of your questions, though someone might have even better info since I've only sailed twice before.

First one- How do I get a great magnet for our door??

You can create your own door sign or magnets (I use MS Publisher), print out the great sign Bubbasmom put on the first page, go pick up some Mickey heads from Home Depot paint department, or I believe there's even a thread on the main cruise board where you can request help with designing a sign. You have a few options for putting up the sign -- personally, I print the design, take it to an office supply store to have it laminated, then use the magnets that you can buy that are sticky on one side for attaching to the back of the signs. Other methods are buying and printing directly onto magnetic paper.

Second - Do I need to book excursions on CC ahead of time- Parasailing??

It depends on how badly you think you want the excursion. Some might be available, or they might be booked. Very helpful, I know It looks like we are sailing a full cruise, so keep that in mind. I did check a second ago and it looks like a few excursions are fully booked already for CC day (waverunners, for one), but parasailing is still showing as bookable (not sure how many openings are still there). You might ask on the main boards if anyone has had luck booking parasailing while on board.

Excursion cancellation policy used to be (not sure if it's changed), 72-hours before the cruise departure date.

Last for today- How far in advance do I do online check in??

Welcome Aboard!!!! First thing - there is no such thing as a silly question!!!! I remember my first cruise, and the amount of questions I had - so ask away!!!!

1. Magnets - there is a great graphic that BubbasMom created for us in the first post. You can buy magnetic ink-jet paper at a supply store like Staples or Office Max and print it, cut it out and it's ready to stick on your stateroom door. There are also some great threads here in the cruise forums with tons of clipart that other folks have made to share with other cruisers.

2. Excursions - Yes - you should be able to book excursions now, (as long as your cruise is paid in full). You can book right from the DCL site.

3. Online check-in can be completed as soon as your cruise is paid in full - this is also done right from the DCL site. We are less than 75 days from the sailing so the excursions and check-in should be open to everyone at this point. You should also register your children for the kids programs.

Officially jumping onboard for the May 15th cruise! This is our 4th cruise and we're so excited about the new ship. It'll be the 4 of us....Karen (me), Steve (DH), Kelley (DD 20), and Caroline (DD 17). We actually booked this cruise onboard our Wonder cruise last April, but it was just going to be the 2 of us. When the Dream commercials started appearing on tv, the girls started begging to go. So, after weeks of stalking the DCL website, I was finally able to grab a cabin for the 4 of us last Saturday. We plan to participate in the FE exchange.

Hi all... this thread has really grown! I'm just back from the Princess Half Marathon and ready to start planning our cruise... so excited! We are paid in full and I just know time is going to start moving very quickly!

I did the Princess half marathon as well. It was my first 1/2 and a great experience, going to make it an annual event. Was this your first time or are you a repeat marathoner?

Hello. We just booked our 6th Disney cruise for May 15th. Myself and my DW (Sandy) will be on the cruise. We do not have kids, unless cats count... LOL

We actually booked this a few weeks ago, but I've been really busy to hop on here until now.

We will participate in the FE. (I signed up on the form from the first post).

I'm going to subscribe to the thread so I'll know if anything get posted or updated as I won't check back here daily.
