Hello all. Well I typed up my trip report almost as soon as I got home. But I never posted it on my website. I wanted it to be nice and fancy..and include LOTS of pictures. Well...I gave up on the nice and fancy...and just started posting it on there.

I've finished day one...and added pictures and a link for more pictures for day one.

I will post a new post here for every day that I finish. I know that when I was waiting for my first cruise, I came here all the time just waiting for new trip reports!!

Great reports!...But...I NEED MORE!!!! :hyper:
In all seriousness, the detail of your reports are awesome! It makes me sooo excited for my own cruise! Can't wait to hear the next days installment!

I love your report so far. I cannot wait till you add more days! Also love the pictures. Looks like you and your son had a great time. :)

I love your reports! I kinda did the same kinda thing for my own book. I too loved the veranda for writing in my journal. I did that every evening. I love looking at your pictures, I still keep looking for us in your pictures. My family was on the same cruise as you & I have seen us in several of your pictures. Great job & I can't wait to relive the cruise some more! :earsboy: :earsgirl:

I appreciate all the details you put in!! If you don't mind, I would like to ask you about taking Brandon on board without his other parent. I have heard that you have to have a "permission slip" completed if you travel with your child solo. Is that true? When my parents took my DS, his father and I were still married but we had to complete seperate documents giving our permission. I was hoping that having a passport would be enough. You can't get that without both parents approval.

Thank you for posting. Looking forward to the rest of your report

Ker Bear... I am a single mom, and my ds father is not in the picture anymore. I was never asked anywhere along the way for proof that i had permission for him to be with me or on the cruise. I think the only problem now, for someone who shares custody, is that you need permission to get the passport. But no where along the cruise did I have a problem.

I have gotten (well ordered) a passprt for DS. His father signed it so that was a relief. Dad can sometimes be a spoil sport and I would hate to get my cruise documents and find out he has to sign anything.

Thank you so much for posting. Your pictures were great!!!!! :bounce:

Heather, thanks so much for these reports! I loved them... and being another single mom, I was glad to see that you and Brandon had such a great time. Did he enjoy the 10-12 year old group, and did he go any days besides the Nassau day?

Heather - As you can see, I don't post often, but I just had to say that I LOVED your trip report! The detail is incredible -- it makes me feel as if I am back on the Wonder or at Castaway Cay. Now I have to go read all of your WDW reports so I can make myself believe I am back in the World! Thanks --and keep them coming!

Wow what a great trip report. I can't wait to read the rest. Sounds like you had a "wonder"ful vacation.

:flower:

Our first cruise was on the Wonder..your pictures brought back great memories..such a nice report...the pictures show what a great time you and your son had..glad for you both...

Your trip report is awful...because it makes me want my November cruise to come sooner!

I loved the pictures, and I really love the shade of pink nail polish on your toes!

I can't wait to read about your day at sea--that's always my favorite day!

Beth

:cool1: Love your trip report. I can't wait to finish reading the rest. It looks like you and your son had a great time. I really enjoyed looking at all the pictures you had posted. They only made me that more excited to go on our cruise next Summer :boat:

? for you. Who did you order your room gifts through? I noticed you had the perfect gift listed on your website but your room gifts didn't seem to be an option through them. I just trying to find some great choices for gifts to leave my DD20, DD18 and DS15 and want to be sure I look at all options.

Thanks, and keep the reports coming.

Karen :earsgirl:

Thanks! I'm glad you are enjoying the report and pictures!!! Sure makes it worth the time it takes to post and resize all those pictures! :rotfl:

Brandon did enjoy the kids clubs(10-12). He said he was glad he chose that group. He went two days of the four. The day at sea he decided to go for a few hours, then we had lunch together, and then he went back until it was time for the show. He wanted to do some other events there, but it always seemed to be during dinner or the show. He said on the 7 day cruise he plans to spend more time in the clubs!

The at sea day was a GREAT day!!! I was all about relaxing on this trip!!!

I ended up ordering my gifts directly from Disney Cruise Lines. I went online, and found what i wanted, and then called in my order. I really planned on using Shirley at the Perfect Gift, but time ran out(i did this WAY last minute). So the gifts you saw are ones you can order form DCL.

Awesome trip report! I can't wait for our cruise next month!! Goofygal if you
don't mine me asking, how much were the T-shirts at Del Sol? Thanks!
