You might want to check Old Navy, this time last year I found a bunch of stuff on clearance such as fleece mufflers, gloves, holiday theme socks for 99 cents, cute little purses, etc.
at Home depot they had little vacumms with an ac adapter .....for $9.99 and also a coffee grinder for 7.50.....and a little coffee brewer for 7.50.....my son used his coffee maker to heat water for his oodles of noodles......how about a box full of paper plates....napkins....paper towels......hand cream.....paper cups....plastic utensils.....if these girls are in college they eat pizza in their rooms and have company too....a pop corn maker or pop corn for microwave.....
Ooh I second the Starbucks gift cards, my friends and I all asked for those for Christmas. Also if they rent movies, Blockbuster or whatever other movie rental gift cards are very nice.
Wow, I want that $9.99 little vacuum cleaner! I'll have to check the Home Depot.
You can get very cute silver jewelry in that price range.
DD (she's 16) went shopping Tuesday and got a VERY cute Liz Claiborne pocketbook for $10.00 on sale. Also Old Navy had awesome sales and Aire Postale (or whatever that store is!) You can usually get a cute t-shirt for around $10 at those stores on sale.
DD would love socks! Cute socks from Old Navy are usually 3 pair for $12.00 (Can you tell we like Old Navy!!)
And DD LOVES anything from Bath & Body Works as suggested earlier. I don't know a teenager that doesn't - even if they don't like the fragrance they can exchange it.
Probably a little late, but, I just received a gift, yesterday, from the aides at my school. It was a box from Blockbuster. In it is a $5 gift card, two bags of microwave popcorn and three candy bars. I thought that was a really nice gift!
