5/10--can't add Genie after midnight, anyone else with problems?

Am up after midnight. Check into Dolphin later today. Trying to add Genie+ to my 1-day ticket with Park Hopper. Button is purple; can't add. Tried to upgrade ticket and it comes up with charge of 0, can't add there either. Any ideas? Anyone else having trouble?
 
I had a similar issue last time I was at Disney, the app wouldn't let me add it ahead of time, but at 7AM I tried to select a Genie+, and it prompted me to purchase it then. Only happened on one day out of the trip and was a bit of a pain, nothing like adding a bit more stress to the 7am rush to try and get a ride reserved.
 

Had this happen this night/morning (5/11). Didn't let me tap the button to add on my account on my iPhone 13 Pro Max, worked on my wife's account on her iPhone 11 Pro (literally had to steal her phone from her nightstand while she was sleeping). Don't know if difference was the account or the phone, both phones appeared to have up to date app.

I ended up being able to purchase around 6 am. Disney IT told me it was because my parents have Florida resident tickets and have to show their DLs at the gate the day of, so I was blocked from buying Genie. But that doesn't make sense to me, because they weren't going to the parks that day and didn't have tickets for that day. My app was updated, I have an iphone. Idk what is the root cause but glad the stars aligned in time. I ended up with a SDD LL for 8:50 am! I hope y'all have better luck moving forward.
 
Someone posted of the same issue on the resort-Swan/Dolphin thread. They were never able to purchase G+ until 7am but were going to visit guest services to see what the scoop was so sadly, it's been an issue for others as well.

Didn't try to add it on 5/12. Just happened again now on 5/13. Didn't work on my phone. Tried on my wife's phone and now the same thing is happening on her phone/account with no updates between 5/11 and now. Enraging. Had to steal my daughter's Android tablet, override the parental control to install MDE, then it worked on that. This is ridiculous.

So aggravated. Tried to buy again today, and can't do so. Have been on hold with Disney IT for 30 minutes. Watching LL times disappear while we can't buy. Unreal.

We’re having the same issue. Tried calling customer service and they said I need Internet support which doesn’t open until 7:00. This is more than frustrating.

I'm really sorry. We ended up getting through eventually but would up just stacking Epcot reservations for later in the day.
 
We ended up just adding G+ for every day even though there are a few days we won’t use it. The frustration was more annoying than paying the extra $.

I hear that. In the future I'm buying the tickets with the add on, and not dealing with this again.
