4X4 rolodex~POSTAL!!!!

Just checking in incase something goes on while I'm away. I'll be in WDW and a DCL next week so no computer access or very limited anyway. I've got some ideas so I'll work on these when I get back.

ok jenny! thanks for checking in. have loads of fun!

Thanks Nancy, I'll get started on these pups this weekend so I can get them off to PO3 with her punch :)

Question - I'm giving most of these as gifts and I would like to assemble the roledexes before I give them. Where are y'all getting your rolodexes and how much were they? I'm concerned because I've never seen this size and I'm worried they'll be expensive.

TIA!

The base itself is the same as the other/normal rolodexes.

Do they sell plain bases without cards? Also, do you know if they sell the plain cards in the 4x4 size? If not, what are y'all putting between the dividers?

I dropped by Staples yesterday. The punch was $8.49. The least expensive rolodex was $6.99.
I'm excited to get working on these, but DH has been on vacation all week- which means very little time for swaps.
The ones posted are so cute!!!!!!

I've not seen the bases without cards.
I will be making my own cards to put in between the dividers. I will probably make them a smidgen smaller than the dividers.

i was just planning on using the regular base as well. i hope that it fits!

What are you planning to use to make your cards?

Sorry for all the questions. I'm just trying to get an accurate cost on how much these are going to run me. I have to get all of my shopping done in November and I'm putting together my budget.

TIA!

good question shauna.i have not even thought about that. :confused3

I will either just use the regular cards between the dividers or make them on my cricut. If you have a roladex punch then I would say to make cards I would buy bulk white cardstock (cheapest kind) and cut it into 3.5 by 3.5 squares and then use the roladex punch on it.

good idea rebecca. that's what i'm going to do!
you said you were making them on the cricut? what cart?

Sorry- I meant the craftrobo- I would just adjust the file I have for regular roladex cards to the size I want. I will probably do them using plain cardstock and a cutter though because it is much cheaper that way.

I haven't decided yet how to use these...I'm thinking appointments and calendar stuff, but not sure. I'd love to hear everyone's ideas.

I will probably be cutting down index cards because those are already lined and my handwriting slants without guidelines.

I'll probably just use the regular cards that come with the rolodex - unless I decide I don't like it.

Mail Call-
