4th of July?

Does Universal do anything special for Independence day? Do they do any sort of fireworks display, keep the park open later, anything?

If they don't do anything, anyone know if there will be fireworks closeby for that night? (we don't want to go to Disney this weekend....)

Since Universal is within Orlando city limits, fireworks can not be "shot off" as high as Disney so the fireworks are pretty low in the sky. I'm thinking they will have fireworks in the lagoon at the Studios that night. If you'd rather, you can go to the top of the parking garage and watch the fireworks the city of Orlando will have...those are always beautiful.
