We won't be going into the parks on July 3 or 4, but we want to see the Magic Kingdom fireworks one of those nights. Are there any good views from the TTC? I thought I have heard that the Poly is pretty strict about non guests watching them from their resort on special nights so I thought we could possibly watch them from the TTC. I would appreciate any advice you might have on where to watch fireworks during this time. Thanks!

You can watch MK fireworks from TTC..but I would highly recommend being in the parks for the 4th of July fireworks (as well as NYE fireworks) because they do a 360 degree show. You'll still see it from TTC but you'll lose some of that wow factor from not being inside

I agree that seeing them inside is worth it IF you have time to kill trying to get out.
The 3rd will prob be worse since people will have the 4th off vs the 4th where many people will have to go back to work on the 5th but anyway it took us over 40 mins to get out from the hub to the gate once and another 1.5 hrs to get a bus. That yr 4th was a weekend though so that's when it is really packed

We are only going to be in the parks on July 2 and 5. We don't want to mess with all of the craziness in MK those two days, but we would still like to see the fireworks. I understand that they would be better in the park, but seeing them across the lagoon will be fine for us.

This is why we don't want to be in the parks those two days. We are going to Blizzard Beach one day and have a resort day the other.

To answer your question too, CR has a viewing area on floor 4 I believe.
I'm not sure how strict they are with people coming/going though. The yr I watched "regular" fireworks from there we were the onLy family there.

You could get off the monorail there, go down the escalator and over to the observation area
Orrrr if they are somehow checking guests, get off at MK and walk over. From there you have multi doors to get inside

TTC has the best viewing from outside the park. That's because it's the most centered. It has the least ambience though, so know that going in. But it sure is convenient and pretty low stress.

We had about 15 people gathered to watch with us the night we watched from there. Be aware this was regular Wishes, not one of the versions with 360 fireworks which will result in a wider view at the TTC.

The 4th floor viewing at CR is open to the public. But be aware they now rope off the best viewing there on nights the Highway in the Sky dining event is running. Not sure if it's scheduled into July or not. Additionally, it's very off center, as one might expect.

The one advantage of watching "Disney's Celebrate America-A Fourth Of July Concert In The Sky" from TTC,Poly,GF is you get to see all of the Perimeter Fireworks and the "Mirror Fireworks"-really cool.:)

Yep, you can go to the TTC, we've watched fireworks from there many times. Like mom2rtk said it's less crowded, less hectic, etc...but has the least ambience. However, I'm willing to bet (haven't tried it yet) that on the 3rd and 4th, the TTC loading area will be crowded with people trying to watch from there, so it may be pretty crazy.

Bonus points if you can time it right and watch the fireworks from the deck of the ferry going across the lake. That's spectacular!!!

It is crowded,but not "uncomfortable".:)

DOUBLE bonus points if you watch "Disney's Celebrate America-A Fourth Of July Concert In The Sky" at TTC on the 4th and then hop on the Epcot Monorail and book it on over for "The Heartbeat of Freedom!:)
