HI! I worked yesterday at Roaring Fork in WL. We were pretty steady during the day but as it went on we got slower. Everyone went to the parks.

After work last night I went to Epcot to see the fireworks. I went with my b/f and we got a spot near China, which was perfect. The Illmunations show was great as usual. What was nice was after Illuminations the had some fireworks go off for the holiday over the American Pavillion. Then more went off in the center of the Lagoon. It was quite a show!

MK fireworks were TREMENDOUS!!! Only downside was that Everyone decided that it was time to leave right after (would you rather spend 3 more hours in MK riding rides, or in the MK parking lot/I-4/US 192 with the other 20,000 people who are "in a hurry" to leave?)... We had really cool buttons to give out this year (small versions of the 'Mickey Salutes America' poster), and there was a neat segment for a TV special taped around 2pm on Main St.

I was at Epcot but watched the MK fireworks from afar while waiting for IllumiNations to begin. The MK show did look wonderful from where we were standing. :) Much better than the standard FITS that we are used to seeing. The special 4th fireworks after IllumiNations were truly spectacular - a great show. Not so the traffic leaving the park, however. My friends and I were talking by the fountain until almost midnight and even then the cars were still backed up exiting the park and getting onto I4. Luckily by the time I got to my car the traffic was moving steadily if not quickly and it only took me an extra 15 minutes to get home.
