4th of July activities?

We just got home from our first stay at Ft Wilderness and my daughter cannot wait to go back! Her birthday is July 3 and we were thinking of staying a few days to celebrate. I saw there is a golf cart parade on the 4th-are there any other special activities or things to plan around/for? We will probably book Hoop de Doo for one night and will be blocked from the parks with our passes so we would love to explore and find new activities and would love to hear advice and suggestions!

I have the Fort event calendar from 2022 that you can use as an EXAMPLE of the activities they will offer around the 4th. The golf cart parade and beach bash are annual staples but the other activities might change year in-year out.



So this will give you an idea of what to expect. These sheets are usually posted also on the sign boards at the pools and Comfort Stations.

Ask for this kind of event sheet when you check in and look out front of the Bike Barn which usually has a sign like this with special seasonal activities if there are any.
