Amen to that! I am still exhausted from the trip, too. Work kicked my butt for the four days I went! I am sleeping until 9 am tomorrow - that is what I do when I am REALLY tired.::yes::

Night All.:)

I woke up at 9 this morning! I really needed the sleep, for sure!!!

Kelly, hope your mom is doing better.
Tina congrats on a delicious event.
Courtney welcome to facebook (and thank you for being my friend)

Cheryl, are you doing better? Chicken pox is no fun!
Hope everyone has a fun and restful weekend. Here are lots of healing thoughts to those that are feeling sick or just down or tired.

I'm off to work - how is it I have 15 massage students in this class and I don't get a single massage today? LOL, it's time for me to break down and make an appt at a local spa!

Hope your day is filled with Disney Magic!
Chris

Do you teach massage therapy? What fun!

Would you all believe that my suitcase is still half packed? I'm finally getting to laundry, which is not really my idea of a fun Saturday. But we have freinds coming over for Taco Night tonight, so I gotta get crack-a-lacking!

Kelly~A Bay Area/NorCal meet sounds fun. My first thought was Santa Cruz or Monterrey, but that's kind of far from you guys up there. What do you think, and do you have any other suggestions? Wendy, Becci, Janelle? Any thoughts?

Thanks for the PM Theresa! :thumbsup2

I just realized that I don't have Rochelle's Address either. If anyone has it, please send it my way. Thanks!!

Hope everyone has a Zip-a-Dee-Doo-Dah day! This is what I've looked like all morning: :surfweb:
That's me too! I have spent the last 4 hours trying to figure out where to stay in Yosemite. I have already had 5 cups of coffee, cereal, eggs, toast, and cookies. Guess I better get in the shower and get going on something else. I am going to watch my grandson (AKA the cutest baby in the world) for a while.

It looks like most of the weekends are getting ruled out already for a summer Seattle trip. I am sure that everyone will not be able to make it whatever weekend we pick. Right now I am looking at 7/30-8/1, 8/13-15, or 8/20-22 as possibilites. Any more thoughts?

Good morning ladies!!!

Well, almost afternoon now. I did read back, but no time to multi quote now so this is just a quickie from me.

I will say I LOVE seeing the talks of a Seattle AND a NorCal meet. How fun!!! I wish I could attend all the meets, but I'm happy we get to have a Vegas meet in June. Anyone else wanna take a trip out to Vegas?? ;)

I'm off to pack a picnic lunch and then the family and I are headed to the park. TTYL!! :)

We stayed and also have reservations to stay at the Curry Village Tent Cabins in July this year in Yosemite. It's like camping but not roughing it as much. We loved it and it was really fun. That's my only experience in Yosemite. When are you thinking of going? We are going late July for a week. I love Yosemite. We parked the car last year and never moved it - we took our bikes and used those to go everywhere in the Valley. This summer my goal is to hike to the top of Yosemite falls - the falls that they show in Soarin! I need to start going on hikes to get in shape! Yikes! Have fun in your planning! Here's a helpful link: http://www.yosemitepark.com/.

Sure, what the heck.

Happy Saturday everyone!

I was so happy to sleep in my own bed after such a long time. I slept until about 10:30 when I received a wake up call from this little girl.

She's so sneaky, she knows when my parents are away or asleep and that's when she breaks the rules LOL. Anais took Jingles out of her crate this morning and so the dog was running around the house and came upstairs where she's "forbidden" and my bedroom door was open so she just ran in and hopped up on my bed and proceeded to get under the covers with me :cutie::lovestruc I love her little face.

Now Anais is treating me to breakfast :thumbsup2 I don't know if we have any specific plans for today since it's raining, it seems to be one of those "stay at home and cuddle up" kind of days. I really do want to see my cousins Cynthia and Kristina. They're 9 and 7 years old yet I have the most fun with them

One of my spacers already busted so I'm going into the orthodontist's office on Monday before heading back to school on Amtrak.

Have a wonderful day!

No way! I usually have at least 4 vacations in planning mode at any given time. :)

Right now we have coming up:

Mexico in May/June
Our annual camping trip to Crater Lake 4th of July weekend
Atlanta in late July (I know)
Disneyland in November
Vietnam / Cambodia next Summer

...and the girls trip. :)

I feel like an empty shell of a person if I don't have a vacation to plan :lmao:

Wow, Vietman/Cambodia...how cool is that! How did you decide to go there?

Everyone seeing Alice in Wonderland, post what you think about it! I really want to go see it for Dawn, but I so rarely go to the movie theater, it's too expensive and people can be so rude.

No exciting plans for me this weekend. I'm suppose to go to a surprise b-day party tomorrow, but I'm still trying to recover from the Diva trip so I don't know if I'll make it. :confused3

I so think of Dawn when I see Alice stuff. Reminds me of her at Halloween.

I haven't voted on the dates poll yet. Kinda waiting till the last minute to pick my favorite amongst the leading votes. ;)

Happy weekend to everyone!

Me too!

Hi everyone!

I'm super-new to the boards. I've been lurking for a couple of months but haven't posted as I don't have much good advice to pass along to others amongst all of the experts here!

I'd like to join in...your 3rd trip sounded so fun. I'd love to be part of the next.

My name is Katey, I live in Oregon with my husband and 3 kids. I'm a west coast girl so I grew up going to Disneyland. We typically make it every couple of years. In fact, we are going at the end of April this year which is how I found these boards.

Looking forward to getting to know all of you! :cutie:

Welcome Katey!

:scared1: I've got your back, sistas!!!!

I want to go see it, but I'm not sure any of my boys will go with me. ANGIE - you wanna go see a movie popcorn:: If I make it, I'll let you know what I think......

....... but Vegas in three months :woohoo: Think cabanas - better yet, think cute cabana boys :rolleyes1

OK, I'm having a moment but I totally thought that welcome wagon was farting flowers  Welcome!!!

I so hope I get there in time to check out the cabana boys!

We may go see Alice tonight or tomorrow night. I'm sooo excited!!

All you sickies, please feel better soon.

And guess what I'm doing? Making a Facebook! Shows how much I love you ALL! :)

Added you!

I am a victim of Diva Pressure. I am the poster girl of Diva Pressure. I gave in and I now have a Facebook.

Its good peer pressure.

Had a great night with Tay last night. Hotel was super nice, and room service was delish!! She wanted to stay longer.

Got tons of errands to run today to get tay ready for her DC trip.

Hope everyone is having a good day!

Thanks Vicki! We are going the middle of May and I am thinking it would be a little too cool for the camping, plus since it is kind of last minute I think all of the accomodations inside the park are taken by now. I have been looking at private cabin rentals, B&B's and Inns near the park. This is an anniversary trip and we usually go somewhere close for just a night or two but I found a great deal on Southwest and Mike has always wanted to go to Yosemite so we decided to step it up. But since we are doing 3 nights and paying for airfare and a rental car, I don't want to spend too much for lodging but don't want to stay in a dump either. There seem to be some decent affordable places but I am not sure how far away they really are. We will want to see the falls, the Ansel Adams Gallery, Glacier Point and Mariposa Grove so I'm sure we will be driving around a lot anyway.

I don't think any one weekend will work for everyone, so we have to do whatever works for most........ :thumbsup2

Good Morning. Just wanted to say a Seattle meet sounds great! I will do my best to figure it out.

Woo hoo!!

I'm off to pack a picnic lunch and then the family and I are headed to the park. TTYL!! :)

Have fun!

Sure, what the heck.

:lmao:

I so hope I get there in time to check out the cabana boys!

If you're driving, you might be the first one there :rolleyes1 We'll be there for most of the day, so I'm sure we can keep the cute cabana boys busy until you get there ;)

Hi girls!

Super lazy day--Brandy and I had multi-grain pancakes this morning--with powdered sugar and fresh lemon juice rather than syrup. Delish!

the pasta last night was delish too!

Off to the store now to get fixins for tomato-basil soup!

later gators!

Carol~our friends have a cabin in Groveland, and we always just stay there and take day trips to Yosemite. But just for a time reference, it takes us about 30 minutes to get to the park entrance, plus another 30-45 minutes to get to the valley floor from there. So I would suggest any of the places between Groveland and the park. I don't know specifics on any of the places though, so I can't be of much help to you.

Some girlfriends and I went on a road trip a few years ago...just packed a bag and took off with no ressie's planned. Stayed in Santa Barbara 1 night, San Luis Obispo at Apple Farm and headed to Yosemite. We stayed at the Apple Tree Inn in FishCamp just a few miles from the Park gates. It was FABULOUS! I just googled it to post the website, but it looks like it has recently been bought out by Tenaya Lodge...which is another fabulous place but kind of pricey. I have no idea how it is now that they bought it, but when we were there years ago it was super quaint and a great place.

Why is it I want to go on every Diva trip!!! Still trying to figure out a way to go to Vegas ;) The Seattle trip sounds fun too!!

We've always stayed in the Curry Village cabins WITH bathrooms! That is my only requirement...LOL They are just so hard to book lately and with all the landslides last year, they have even fewer to book :( But we love them, and like you parked our cars and never drove for the rest of the week...only hiked & rode bikes.....sigh....now I want to go back to Yosemite!!

Happy Saturday to all! I'm cleaning out my tupperware cabinets & pots/pans cabinets.....ohhhh fun!!

I love all the mini meets forming.:goodvibes

It is cold and rainy here.

The good news is we got our taxes done and got a refund. Because of the underwithholding during the stimulous deal, I was afraid we would owe. Even after paying our accountant his fees, we came out about $500 ahead - yeah!

Love the new pic of the grandbaby, Carol. He really is a cutie.:cutie:

Regarding the dates of our trip, I wanted to point out that the April dates will likely be blocked out for anyone with a Deluxe pass. I really don't want to upgrad to a premium, so am thinking the early March dates may be best for me. I am still waiting until tomorrow to vote. Still thinking about it.

That's good info.....I imagine people with the Deluxe AP hadn't even thought about that!! Thanx for sharing that!!

Today has been such a lazy day. And it's been cold and rainy all day here too..

Tonight Jesus and I are going to go see Alice. Maybe get something to eat.

Hope everyone is having a good day!!

It's a lazy sunny day here. I am recovering from too much caffeine and a late night. Not to mention driving in horrendous traffic to get my oldest and youngest to a concert in Orangevale, CA (basically Sacramento.) My younger daughter and I had fun hanging out together. It was a great night for Kacy my oldest, she got to meet her favorite singer from one her favorite bands. And she got a hug and a really nice picture with him.

Saturday is day one of my "sit in bed all day" weekends. I work graveyard tonight so I try not to do anything that will mean I'm more exhausted than normal before going in to work since the whole napping thing doesn't really work for me.

24+ hour days are my favorite.

Hi all. It's raining here too.

I'm planning to go see Alice tonight too.
