That's me too! I have spent the last 4 hours trying to figure out where to stay in Yosemite. I have already had 5 cups of coffee, cereal, eggs, toast, and cookies. Guess I better get in the shower and get going on something else. I am going to watch my grandson (AKA the cutest baby in the world) for a while.

It looks like most of the weekends are getting ruled out already for a summer Seattle trip. I am sure that everyone will not be able to make it whatever weekend we pick. Right now I am looking at 7/30-8/1, 8/13-15, or 8/20-22 as possibilites. Any more thoughts?

The August dates would work best for me. We should plan a trip to Dick's for lunch one day. That is such a Seattle thing.

I saw that Linda already posted about this, but we do need to keep in mind block out dates for Deluxe passes. The later we go the more of an issue it will be. Just tossing that out there.

Afternoon ladies.

First before I forget Michelle you were RIGHT where I live. Geez I wish I would have known. We could have met maybe. I don't know how crazed you were with your kids concert and if it would have even been a possibility but maybe we could have met for coffee or something and I could have brought my girls or something. That's just crazy that you were RIGHT in my town and we missed eachother. Bummer. But it's not like fairfield is that far so I am sure we can meet up and you DEF have to do the nor cal meet if we can get this worked out!!

And as far as that goes yeah Tina esp if I go to Seattle it would be better for me if I kept it closer/cheaper rather than farther. I was thinking if we did the city (SF) then I could drive and either come for the day (SAT) or if we did it for two days then I am sure I can find a deal for an overnighter. But I figured there is SO much to do in the city it would be fun. Like the Disney museum or the new museum in Golden Gate park. There are so many fun restaurants and there is the wharf (I know it is pretty touristy but I was thinking for any that might want to come from down south they might like this). But we can always talk about what everyone wants to do. I am good on whatever since I go to the city all the time and am open to whatever. One thing that would be a BLAST is to see beach blanket babylon. My mom saw it and said it was AWESOME! Just one idea to toss out there.

And as far as the dates for Seattle anything other than those dates in June works for me so Carol those dates sound great to me. Our swim actually ends the end of July so I wouldn't even have to miss any swim meets!! :) Mom has her Monterey trip I think that middle weekend so if we pick that one I was wondering if anyone is coming from out of the area and wants to share a room? I will be flying obviously and prob want to rent a car so if mom doesn't come I would love to share a room with someone but I can prob do it alone if I had to but it would be more fun to share! :)

Oh and Carol you will LOVE Yosemite. I have been a few times and love it there. I have always camped (in a tent) but they have some really nice places to stay but expensive I've heard. Have fun!!

Thanks again to everyone who asked about mom. I know she had to show some property today but I talked to her for a short time and she sounded a little better. I know she has to go to Truckee tomorrow so hopefully that doesn't set her back but hopefully the antibiotics are helping!

January I REALLY missed you girl! You NEED to come on the next one!!! Thanks for thinking about mom!

Oh and Beth you know I would LOVE to go to Vegas but A Shane told me I can't go to Vegas till "we" have gone first and B that week is the last week of school and it is too hard for me to miss that with the girls. WAY too much going on. If it was later I could prob do it but I need to get his butt there first so then he will let me go! ;) I don't know what his gig is but he doesn't have a problem with me going anywhere else but he is WAY too jealous of me going to vegas without him LOL. Maybe he is afraid I will get in too much trouble with you wild gals. I think your reputation has proceeded you!! ;)

Anywho I am off to make myself some din din! Have a great night ladies and see yall tomorrow!!

Kelly, That is funny. We were at Border's in Folsom drinking coffee, and at Starbucks in the Barnes and Noble at the Birdcage Walk drinking coffee. We had like five hours we killed. They really enjoyed the concert and maybe after our June trip I will let them go to another concert and we will get a chance then. And yes if the meet is at a good time I am all over it. There are a lot of us here in northern California.

Oh my gosh you were like 5 mins from my house when you were at Birdcage and Folsom is not far from me either. I don't know how old your kids are but I have an almost 9 year old girl and a 10 year old girl. WOW! That's too bad! Well next time for sure!! :)

And by the way I just went and looked at the AP blockout dates and for this year anyway all the saturdays in March were blocked out too!! So if they do the same next year that is going to be a problem. I can tell you I don't mind paying it for ONE day if it was during food and wine but I wouldn't want to pay it just for a regular weekend so if the food and wine weekend doesn't win then people may want to go back to either february or beginning of march. I think it was the first part of march that it starts so we may have to evaluate it but at least based on THIS years it looked like every sat was blocked out. Just a thought.

Regarding the dates of our trip, I wanted to point out that the April dates will likely be blocked out for anyone with a Deluxe pass. I really don't want to upgrad to a premium, so am thinking the early March dates may be best for me. I am still waiting until tomorrow to vote. Still thinking about it.

The April date is winning in the poll. I would hate for anyone to miss the trip due to being blocked out. How many people have the Deluxe Pass?

My kids are all teenagers. My girls are Kacy who will be 17 in less than a month, Kody who is 15, and my son Loren is 13. And I now feel so old.:lmao:

I know mom and I have a deluxe and I just looked again to make sure and for this year the only sat that isn't blocked out is the first one March 6th (today). Every other sat including EVERY sat in April is blocked out so I guess it would be safe to assume that it will be that way next year too. To me I don't mind paying the fee to be able to go to food and wine since I renew my pass in June and I won't be paying for tickets at that time BUT I know for a lot of people they may not want to do that. SOOOO I guess we will have to think about that.

Michelle don't feel old! I have an 18 year old stepdaughter and I suppose I could have kids even older than that. I will be 43 in June. EEK!!! As I just told my mom who turned 65 on the girls trip, age is all in how you act and feel! ;)

Then I must be ancient. I am 48 in May. Are you going to be in Disneyland for your birthday.

No I wish! I can never go on my birthday because it is June 3rd and the kids are always still in school and it is usually always like the last week or last few weeks so too hard to go then. We are hoping to go the week of the 21st.

Just a quick 'drive-by'. I wanted to let all of the ladies from this past trip that I scanned in our picture from Mickey's Surf's Up breakfast as well as the Visa Meet & Greet Photo Op picture.

I hope you all are having a nice weekend and that those who are not feeling better are getting better.

I'm headed to Seattle tomorrow for the week.

Take care, talk to you all during the week.

Steph

I knew that, I am managing the June list.

Michelle did you go to the concert at the Boardwalk? My dh just asked. If so that is RIGHT down the street from my house. I mean I don't live ON Greenback but VERY close to there. Let's just say I could have walked there and he has gone to several shows there. I grew up in O'vale. Small world!!

Have fun stef!!

Hey Stac(ielee) any chance you will get the pics of us from screamin and tower on shutterfly? ;)

Yes, it was at the Boardwalk and Kacy loved the venue. I am sure they will go to other concerts there.

It's ok Michelle, I am 49. ;)And a few Divas are a year or two older than me.
But I would say most are in their 30's.

I think if the April dates win, I would just pay the $40 or $45 (how much is it these days?) to go in on Saturday. That is SH day, cannot be missed.:cutie:

Somehow I think that Disney transcends age. I get in the park and my age disappears.
