Good morning everyone .

It's been a little while since I posted, I had a health scare & since I don't have insurance I put off going to the doctor. I finally went to Urgent on Saturday & they put me in the hospital. I won't go into details, but I did have to receive blood, because I lost a lot of blood. The good news is I'm alive & feeling a lot better. The bad news, I have another bill I can't really afford.

I hope everyone else is well, I've missed a lot of what has been going on.

Welcome to the new comers :flower3:.

I'm on the fence about which dates to pick :confused3. I mostly wanted February because I wanted to stay at GCV, but now I want to see if I want to spend the extra points. I'm so confused :upsidedow.

Wow! Hope you're doing better!! Question: did I pay you for the points and the food/water for the room? I don't remember AT ALL!!

Katie: glad you're doing ok. I agree with Tracey--call the billing dept.

scary :( Hugs!

I'm off today and have a long list of things to do...whats new right? I'm taking my mom out shopping for a new walker and to get some new clothes too.

Enjoy your day :)

Jill--does your Mom have a tray for her walker? My Mom does and loves it--it makes it easy to transport things from room to room and it's good as a "tv tray" too--the only issue is she got a new walker delivered and the tray didn't fit on it--so she sent back the new walker and has to get another.

Have fun shopping!

Thanks everyone for the support.

Tracey & Cheryl- Thanks for the tip. I'll call the billing department once I get the final bill in the mail.

Yes you did :thumbsup2.

Hi everyone!!

I hope you all are having a wonderful Tuesday!

Kate!! Big hugs to you!!:hug::hug::hug:

She has the kind with the seat & compartment underneath, but it is 7 years old and kind of wearing out. I know there are lots more options these days, so we'll see what she likes. Where did you get your mom's?

Hey everyone...

Count me amongst the fallen compadres....I've been fighting off something for a week now and I think it's finally taken up permanent residence in my lungs. I keep taking stuff and then I think about Brittney Murphy...

Katie...that is really scary. I had something very similar happen to me when I was 22...I really hope you recover quickly and the billing department works with you.

I had a girlfriend contact me a few months ago asking if I would design her wedding invitations...I've done it for other people in the past so I told her I'd be happy to. Then I remembered that she wrote the book on A type personalities and let's just say I'll be happy to get this project behind me. :)

Good Luck with the invitations. My sister got married in July and was a bridezilla:eek:

Hers is just a plain walker. It was ordered from one of her hospital stays, so not sure where it came from. She does go to the medical supply and get "skis" put on--instead of back wheels they look like skis and make it easier to maneuver.

Isn't this great discussion for the Diva thread?

Thanks. :)

Yes, I try to remind myself the pressure the brides feel when they're in the planning process...it's stressful! But still...this may be the last wedding I design for. :)

Of course! Maybe I should take notes for myself just in case I need one in about 20-30 years!!

I've never been lucky enough to go on a girls' trip (sniff sniff) but I was in the room across from some of the Dis Ladies last week! We saw your sign and kept hoping to bump into you....:) I remember seeing Stacerita and Momma4U's name on the sign (I think)...we must have been on different schedules because we never saw you. Looks like you had a fabulous time!:flower3:

I'm still sick girls, but I think I'm getting better. Justin got me some Mucinex-DM, which seems to be helping a bit.

Katie - yikes girl, that sounds horrible. I hope you're alright. Please take care of yourself.

Cheryl - Walker talk is excitin'! My dad's walker is red with a seat, has big ol' wheels on it compared to most walkers, and has padded hand grips with hand breaks. Whoooo HOOOOOO! :woohoo:

Take care everyone and miss you all. :grouphug:

Capri Feel better :flower3::wizard: I know mom is still pretty sick too! I don't believe that she has just a sinus infection cuz she still has that wicked cough! I think she has bronchitis and I keep telling her to get the mucinex too. That stuff works!!

Hope you feel better!!

Hi there. Sorry we missed you! Maybe one day you'll be able to join us. By the way, you live where I'd love to come and tour! Thanks for stopping in to say hello. Stacerita has a trip report just starting if you'd like to check it out and read about all the fun. :)

Morning ladies! :)

Katie, I know you got my PM but this is for you  .

Capri, glad to hear you are starting to feel a bit better.

Cristabel, I hope you get well fast. Your mom too Kelly.

I hope everyone is having a good day so far. I have far too much laundry to do. :laundy: As always. LOL

Ok--totally off topic--but I love me those Mucinex commercials on tv!

Your Dad is STYLIN' Capri. My Mom covets a red walker, but didn't like the style. She has arthritis in her hands so the hand brakes wouldn't work for her.

Hope all the sick folks feel better soon. And I found out this morning that I have a staph infection in my NOSE!!!!!! More drugs. Apparently I got it the last time my Mom was in the hospital. :scared1:

And Mom just called and has an infected foot so has to go to the "day hospital" to get IV antibiotics. And Brandy thinks now that her elbow might be broken too (the doctor never x-rayed it). She finds out tomorrow.

I tell ya--we're fallin' apart out here in SoCal.

I hope everyone is having a good day!

Minor whine - they painted our back door at work today. It's right outside my office door. The sander was ridiculously loud. The paint fumes were terrible. The guys were loud and did I mention its in the low 50's and raining. AND.. since the paint is wet, the stupid door is still standing wide open which not only lets in the cold air but is a security risk. I refuse to open my door and freeze to watch the door that should be closed. What kiind of moron paints outside on a day its supposed to rain anyway. It certainly could have waited until tomorrow or better yet, Friday when I won't be here anyway. lol

LOL - yep, those Mucinex commercial characters are pretty funny! :happytv:

Sorry to hear about your staff infection. That's kind of scary, so please take care. And your poor mom.....geesh, I hope her infection gets better soon. And good grief, Brandy may have a broken elbow too, and they never even checked it out?!!! I really hope she doesn't and is on the mend.

No falling apart on us. Get the super glue out! ;)

Yeah, my dad is stylin', or he was. Poor guy, he's falling apart too. Mom just called me this morning to let me know that he can't seem to keep solid foods down anymore....that is when he eats, which is practically never.
