4th Fireworks

We leave in 11 days!!!
I'm thinking about trying to see the fireworks at MGM & Epcot. MGM's are at 9:00 and Epcot's are 10pm. I thought we could walk to the entrance of MGM to view Sorcery in the Sky. Then, walk to Epcot to view the fireworks there.

We will be staying at Beach Club Villas July 4th to 6th, then to OKW.

Should I make a request for a certain room/location. It would be wonderful to be able to see the fireworks.

If you want to see Epcot fireworks from your room, request the Epcot view. There are, however, some Epcot view rooms from which you won't be able to see fireworks. You'd see part of the World Showcase but not any of Illuminations.

You sound like you actually want to enter the park on the 4th, though. I'll be in Epcot on the 4th this year myself.

Should I make a request for a certain room/location

If you want to see the EPCOT fireworks from your room you should call on Monday and request an EPCOT view room and also request an upper floor.

Even if you don't get that room, you should have enought time to walk from the front of MGM to the International Gateway entrance to EPCOT (as long as you are in pretty good shape).
