Please don't be discouraged, some of my posts didn' get responses either. However, when I placed them in a more appropriate thread I got tons of responses. I am still learning the ropes around here, but all the info I've read is invaluable.

Not to mention, as more and more threads are added, yours moves down toward the bottom. If you haven't had a response, just reply to your own thread with "bump" in the body, and it'll put it back at the top.

I agree don't be discouraged. Many of my posts have had few replies simply because either they moved down the list quickly as lots of other people were posting too, or because the post didn't contain anything specific to respond to i.e a question. The responses I have had have been great though. Stick with it, the people here are great. A tip might be to make sure you are posting on the right board e.g if you want to know info about a resort put it on the resorts board and not on the theme park strategies board.

I'm not sure why you are under the impression that people didn't like your posts?

Your nemo post was made only 1/2 hour before this thread and many threads don't get replies immediately.

Your other thread already had 3 replies by the time you posted this thread???

Everyone here is very helpful, you just have to give them a little time to reply to your posts .

As said above a lot of the " veterans " of the DIBB bump their message back upto the top by adding a reply- reafirming their need for info etc....it has a way of bringing the thread back on to page one as it is amazing at busy times just how fast the thread can seem old and creep over to page two with no replies!

This one has done well ! lol

Sorry your dissapointed, remember this is a busy message board and not like pm or e-mail. Sometimes you won't get a reply for hours or days but don't worry. You can also participate in other threads and develop communication and relationships that way. I am sorry that I didn't notice your first post but perhaps its just a subject I am not knowledgable about.

Read some of the other boards, perhaps resort or restaurants as well and see if you can get involved helping others and you will find yourself being helped as well.

Hope you will decide to give it more than an hour or two and then stay.

If the issue is important just mention that in the subect. I also find it helps if your quite specific to generate more interest from those that are likely to have an answer or information.

It's nothing personal, some threads are just more popular than others. Been here for over a year and can't tell you how many times I've been through what you're going through now. Just be patient and wait til the day one of your posts gets hundreds of replies....I've had that happen too!!
