Suds----I love this name! Their fur looks like suds!

As you might guess, we had an active white male kitten who truly fit the name

Denise < --- had a few *other* names when he continually jumped on countertops

My brother has a Bichon puppy - they call him Mel - short for Marshmellow

We also have a Bichon, but DD named him "Blaze" although he is a little devil!
These were the other's we struggled with:

Einstein-looks like his hair (but breed is VERY smart)

Dude-works for ANY breed

Snow White(Snowy) had we gotten a female

I have to admit tho, most of the time he is know as stupid mutt, he is always underfoot and tho we love him dearly, he can be quite frustrating!

My husband and I have a Bichon named Max and his parents have a Bichon named Parker. They are absolutely the best family dogs! So much personality wrapped up in one little package. Good luck with the new addition to your family

We had a bichon when I was growing up names Chirpa because we got him right after my sister and I saw "Return of the Jedi" and we thought he looked like an Ewok.

Now my DH and I have a bichon/poodle mix we call Dexter. He is the best dog, all the temperment of a bichon but he's carmel coloured since the father was an apricot coloured poodle.

Other bichon's I have known; Apollo, Coco (for Coconut) and Daisy.
