I cannot tell you how happy I am to be going to Disney for Thanksgiving. We're a little scared of the crowds as we've always gone during October. But we are very excited that we will be seeing the decorations. and that I got all the ADRs I wanted.

From one 47 Disney geek to another - have a great time! I don't think you're crazy for going next week. We had originally planned to go for Thanksgiving as well, but airfares didn't co-operate and we went last month instead (and got airfare for half the price.) But you get to see Christmas decorations - I'm sure that will make it all worthwhile!!!!!

DW and I have done The World on Thanksgiving week. The crowds were minimal Monday thru Wednesday. Thursday, Thanksgiving Day, the crowd began to show up, and by Friday the crowd was thick with lots of little ones.

We have been to WDW for Christmas and New Years the past three years and will be there again this year. Yes, it is crowded but everyone is filled with the Holiday spirit. Everyone is so polite. Very seldom will you run into an Ebeneezer Scrooge or Henry F. Potter at this time of year.

47 year old geek? Heck, your still just a kid. I'm a 61 year old geek and can still handle the crowds, drink around the world, and ride Mission Space -- in that order.

40 something Disney geek and it is my first time at the world on Thanksgiving too! DD and I are so psyched that we get to see all of the decorations that the crowds won't bother us one bit!! Can't wait for turkey at the mouse house! See y'all there!

Almost 41 yo Disney Grandpa Geek here....You'll LOVE it! The decorations the ppl seem to be a little nicer and ya the crowds will pick up on Thursday thru the weekend BUT who cares YOUR IN DISNEY...Enjoy yourself Geek, Shawn
