now I'll be lucky to sleep the rest of the night! My babysitter called. Her husband is being transferred to Mt. Vernon, Il and they have 90 days to move, which means they will probably be gone much sooner! I was really hoping (selfishly) that she could get me through until youngest dd goes to kindergarten next year. I know this is trivial compared to alot of problems here lately, but any PD you can spare I would appreciate.

My dh is at work, my dad is out of town and it's too late to get on the phone and call my best friend. But I knew someone would be here and listen!

Sorry to hear that you are out of a good babysitter, those are hard to come by these days. Would your dd like a pre-k program?
I truly do not miss those days of worry over daycare... however I do miss some of the tax advantages Good Luck!

Mamajoan, she is in a pre-k program 3 mornings a week. Normally, my dad who is retired picks her up when that is over and takes her to the babysitter, so she would have only been there 2 full days and 3 partial days. Now, that I've slept on it, I don't think the partial days will be a problem. She has been wonderful and treats my kids like her own, so I know they are really going to miss her. Oldest dd was crying last friday when we left because she was going back to school and wouldn't see her everyday. I'm not even going to tell either one of them about this for awhile, until I know for sure when they will be gone.
