I recall ponchos being offered on the Alaska cruise a couple of years ago as well. Perhaps they are not offered where the rain is not combined with warm weather but only cooler climes. I thought it was very nice to have them available. The cold, wet washcloths offered when coming back on the ship after a hot day are awfully nice too.
. We didn't get off the boat but I shared an elevator with someone who had already been off and back on early in the day and they were saying ponchos were handed out.
The tap water onboard? All water onboard the ships is processed the same as most bottled water (reverse osmosis and filtered). That's ALL water (drink station; dining rooms; tap in your room; preparing food; making ice).The author of the article was on the Jan 9th Western Caribbean cruise, so a warm climate. It wasn't HOT but still warm
Anyone know anything about the water comment? The author says the tap water isn't for drinking? There are no signs up by Disney saying this so I really hope that isn't true since we did indeed drink the tap water.
How about the "port side fish - starboard side seahorse" thing? I think that's only on the Dream class ships, right? And Concierge has a starfish.
It also says "and several outdoor deck water fountains". AFAIK, the drinking fountains onboard don't work. At least on the Wonder they didn't. Don't know if the Dream class ships have actual drinking fountains. But I've always found drinking fountains to be gross.
How weird we got ponchos on our last two cruises. Both cruises were on the Wonder.
I thought #16 was going to be, "Don't take the Red Pillow on the bed unless you want a $200 charge to your account."
