40% pin offer at values in mid Sept??

Just curious...what did you get with the pin code for room only and/or packages at Pop or All Stars during MID SEPTEMBER??

A friend of mine reserved today, Value resort for about $58 per night, second week of September.

Same here at Pop, 9/08-9/14. We had to buy tickets though to get the 40% off with a travel agent.

I am a passholder.. didn't have to buy tickets with it & my TA got me that rate..we aren't sure now if it was "the code" because when she called them on Saturday to find out what was taking so long for my confirmation, they said that my name was Targeted??? what ever that may mean. They also told her that they see from my travel history that I seem to book more or less in the same time frames every year... so I do not know if that had anything to do with it.. I do know that I do not need a pin at check in..just my confirmation. She has called and confirmed this with them 4 times. The first time she was told yes, the next 3 she was told no... who know anymore at this point. One guess is as good as another All I know is I got a great rate and will be going March (with AP rate), May/June, Sept, Oct & next I have to book Dec.. she could not get me that good rate for Dec, that came out too high. I usually go the first weekend of Dec & then just before Christmas.. I will wait for either AP or FL rates for that..

So if a friend of yours just booked yesterday & got that rate, then it must be something different to "the code" that everyone is talking about, because that was "supposed" to be stopped I am really starting to think this is a promo deal with A year of a Million Wishes.. people randomly will get "targeted" for the discount. ... only if they call at the right time & for the right resort or dates...
