Ok, here's the deal. We just went to WDW last month (Jan 1-8, 2011) and had no plans on going back this year.
I called WDW this morning to see about any discounts for dining for dates Oct. 30, - Nov. 5, 2011 just out of curiosity. Our travel party is 2A 1C(12). The CM told me that there were no discounts available and she came up with the same price I did for a value resort, 7 day base ticket, and the QSDP. $2077. But then she said that a random discount showed up on her screen for All Star Sports, 7 day tix, and QSDP for $1815. I did the math, and while not free, it is a pretty good discount. It comes out to roughly $61 a day for our entire party, $20.33 a day per person. I don't know if we'll take it so I put it on hold until we decide. There is one thing that has me leaning toward taking it though. That is F&W! We've never been to F&W festival and would love to try it. On my last day last month, I had 6 snack credits left that I had to use. With F&W, I could take a day or 2 and use those credits in Epcot. Would you do it?

I would take it with the thought that if any other deal comes out that you are more interested in you can change your reservations. We have done that plenty of times.

Right now we are planning on APs, TIW and room discount for our October trip but if something better comes along....:rolleyes1

That sounds like a pretty good deal. We used a lot of our snack credits at the F&W festival, and the fact that you've never been during that time makes it even more appealing. It really is almost like getting free dining. Why don't you book it, and then wait to see what other deals come out?

I would do it. We like to do the QSDP occasionally so we do not have any ADRs to go to and it will be great to be able to use all those snack credits at F&W! Plus you will get the refillable mug :thumbsup2

Go for it and have a blast!!

I should have mentioned that I have to make a decision between this deal and a 4 night cruise on the Dream Oct 30 - Nov 3. There is only a $19 difference between the two so money is not an issue. I've been on a Disney cruise before, just not on the Dream. Decisions, decisions! :confused3

Can you do both? Maybe the 3 night cruise and 3 nights at the parks. That way you can cruise and take advantage of the discount.

I would take it! F&W is so much fun and you can use your snacks around the world. If soemthing comes up in the next little while, you can always change it again

Now that changes everything!!! That is a much a harder decision.
I have never been on a Disney cruise and the Dream looks fabulous. I would do the cruise

I would take the cruise and add 2-3 days at WDW with the discount you have on hold!
