I'm wondering if those of you who got the deal already had a pin attached to your names already. Either that or I just keep getting the wrong CMs. (All 4 times !)The last one said they might honor 40% without a code if I could fax in a copy of the flier (which I don't have of course.)

I apparently had a pin attached to my name my cm mention something about being a Florida resident too. Have yet to receive the flyer.

It is entirely possible that there's a code attached to your name also.... maybe try again???

My DH must have had a pin attached to his name too....we are AP holders and FL residents but did not receive a flyer

Send a PM to the poster who had the flier to get a fax copy? I don't know why its not working for you...sorry!

I finally got my corrected confirmation, so IT's DONE! 8 nights YC- CL!!

Mousefan1972, where do you see the code on your reservation? I have seen a two letter code next to the resort but there is no other code on my ressie.....

I had asked on a previous call if I had a PIN attached to my name, and the CM said they had no way to check that. (I know in the past that they could check it, so perhaps he was wrong) The CM who booked my trip today didn't say that we had a PIN attached to our household. She said something like: "I can honor the 40% off for you" I really think it just depends on which CM you talk to, and how much they are willing to look for the code that will work.

OK, for folks who are not passholders. I called and got a very nice CM. First she tried one code and it wouldn't work because my dates are in december and she said the code expired in April.

THEN...she said the code I am trying to use for 40% off the package can't be booked until tomorrow. She said the code doesn't start until tomorrow. I never gave her a code she had put me on hold for a while but came back and said to call back tomorrow and they should be able to apply the 40% off. Not sure if it will work but it's worth a try?

I called, was on hold forever....
When the CM came on, I told her I was an AP holder and REALLY wanted to stay at POP at 40% off. LOL. . Ste asked me how many times I had been, etc..
I asked if I had a PIN I didn't know about....
She came back and told me I could have my POP PREFEREED ROOM at 40% off.
HOLY MOLY.

I'm so glad that it's working for all of you! I know that a few more people asked if it's just for AP holders...no, my son who is 13 years old received the flier, no code attached and he is not an AP holder.

That is cool! I don't know if I am brave enough for MNSSHP on Halloween itself, but a quick 3 day trip starting 10/25/08 seems to be in my cards!!

I think that I may try for WL. I've wanted to stay there for a while, it intrigues me. We really love AKL and the WL seems to have that same "feel". We just bought into DVC with BCV as our home resort so we'll have plenty of stays there. The Oct trip is going to be a cash trip, but as I told my DH, its basically free b/c the rooms are about $200 night and we already spent a fortune on our AP's. So that just leaves airfare. And food. Otherwise, its almost fee so it can't be resisted (sssshhh, let me believe this for a while....)

Thanks so much to everyone who posted their info and experiences!!! I called and after being on hold for 23 minutes got a really nice girl who found a code under my DH's name (they are never in my name even though every trip is booked under my name?!)! We do not have APs either! We are currently booked Nov 29-Dec 6 at the Contemporary with a MK View! (DH's choice). She said if we want to make it into a package and keep the room discount we need to do so by March 31.

Don't feel bad, I had no luck either. They were adamant you must have a PIN. I gave up.

i am not an ap but i did get a 40% of flyer. odd thing is it was in my hubbys name and my phone # before i was married over 7 years ago. so i am excited but a little nervous because he cant get off work for this trip hopefully that wont be a problem

What a great thread....I started reading it this morning and told my husband. He called and told the little white lie, after 25 mins they came back to say they couldn't even open up our existing reservation...ahhhh - after 40 mins they could open it and then went back to customer service where they approved 5 of our 8 nights at the Royal Palm Club at the GF. (dec 10-18th) We already had AAA discount on the 8 nights so they kept the first 3 nights at the AAA rate and after the dust settled we saved $950 JUST BECAUSE YOU ALL TOOK THE TIME TO POST on this thread. First major discount we have gotten in years. Thanks Triplefigs for starting all of this.

I am on hold right now. I am an AP and would love to upgrade to the WL but when I called earlier, i needed a pin and do not have one. After sifting this thread im going to try the pin-less flyer...lets see what happens!
