40% off Passholders PIN code

Not for nothing, but the flier that I received specifically says that you must provide the PIN code when booking.... I'm surprised that people have been able to book with the rate? Maybe those that did had a PIN code attached to their name.

I am starting to wonder if myself, MickeyNicki, and others who got the discounted rate really did have PIN's attached to our households. That would seem to be the most logical explanation. Why else would so many other people here be told, no PIN/code, no discount?

I called and first was told no, he had to be a guest on the trip, and I said in the past that my understanding was that as long as the PIN came to my address I could use it and she said she was checking with 'guest relations', and priced out my request in the meantime. Once she was done she said 'Guest relations said it's okay to use it since it came to your address'.
So check this deal - MAN!! I am doing the HAPPY dance!!!

MK Tower Room, normally $430/night in value season.... We got it for $258/night plus extra adult plus taxes, but still, even then, since I'm splitting the cost with my mom, I get to stay there for $159/night total!!!
I am so excited. I get to watch the icicle castle every night from my balcony. Fantastic!! I'm gonna bring my Wishes CD and cue it up at night for private showings. I'm so psyched. Never stayed in the Contemp before but from the photos the rooms look really cool. JOLLY!!

Congrats! I just wanted to say that I'm pretty sure there is a TV channel in your room at the CR that plays the Wishes music during the fireworks, so you probably won't need your CD.

after reading I decided to give at a try, I called and they said I didn't have a code attached to my name... I told them what the flier said they found a code to apply.. I was on a long time and went through a supervisor... but I saved 40% on Dec. at the poly....well the funniest thing is I opend the mail, and there was the flier butit said for value... so although i lied about getting the flier, I really got one after all... I am shocked!!!! but happy!!!

so, i check my mail today and there it was-"the gold flyer that has the 40% off" i was so excited!! so, i wrote down my dates and called. it had my BIL's name on it with my address. my bil went on a trip with us like 3 years ago and hated it! so, i call the cm and i got a rude one!! i gave her the pin # and she looked it up and asked me who's name it was under? i told her the story and she said there was no way i could book under that discount and there was not a pin attached to my name! i said, so, if my bil calls, he can book one even though it is under my address?? she said yes! i said, my bil will never go back to wdw but if you let me book, i will book 3 trips today!! she said, it was unfortunate but she couldn't give it to me!!!!
so, i think i will call back and try "in the past, i thought they would honor a pin as long as it came to your address"? i can't believe what u have to go through!! any advice????

I have been following this thread with fingers crossed, and guess what. Right now, this very minute, I just received an email 40% offer! It says "for passholders" (I am an AP holder...) but it also has a PIN. It is for the same dates as posted on here. So I think I'm going to call and book a trip for next fall. So excited! I sincerely hope the rest of you get codes too.

I just received the same email, for 40% off for Passholders (from Disney Destinations) but with a PIN code. It is specific to Values, with the usual fine print that mod/deluxe/dvc may be available too.

Although this is for dates all year (as PP said) it is interesting this comes out so close to when we would expect more passholder rates. Fingers crossed they will have both options, because my dates are not on here.

I am so darned excited. I got my pin code flyer in the mail a few weeks ago. I was bummed at first though as it was addy'd to my BFF that went with us on a trip this past Aug. but it came to my own addy. I decided to call them and ask though.

Yeah!! I can use it since it was my addy. I can now stay at standard room club level with dining package and base tickets at the Contemporary 4 nights for less than it would have cost us 4 adults to stay at a reg room at contemp with a package.


I am so psyched. It was quoted to me at $3580 ish. Oh GOODNESS!! I am gonna do it. I have always wanted to stay club level at a deluxe resort. Yeah!! Happy graduation to us. It is a ladies trip to celebrate our nursing school graduation. I feel like I just struck the lotto jackpot.

n2mm: Was this information on your flyer or on the reservation confirmation itself? I'm asking because I posted a question about the AP 40%-off flyer on another thread and a couple of people noted that thye've booked packages--including park tickets using their code. If they're selling you park tickets (not APs) along with your room ressie, I can't believe they'd also expect you to have an AP a check-in.

BTW, that wording is not on the Passholder 40%-off flyer that I personally received.

Edited to correct first paragraph: The person on the other thread who booked the package including park tickets did NOT have an AP-specific flyer. I mistakenly thought they did.

I'm still curious about the answer to my other question, so I hope n2mm responds.

I had already booked 3 trips with the pinless flyer (did not receive the flyer) about 3 or 4 days ago and tonight I received an email with the same dates offering 40% off VALUE and for Sun-Thur nights.

So I must have had a pin attached to my name but I received 40% off deluxe for longer than Sun-Thur.....

Sounds like wording from the Disney site. Whenever I check in, I have to provide ID. I am usually getting a FL resident discount or a passholder discount.

This is what the flier that my son received states:

Inside states: Nine magical times to celebrate Jan 4-15, Jan 25- Feb 12,
Mar 1 -14, May 31 - Jun 6th, Aug 23 - Oct 3, Oct 25 - 31, Nov 15 -21, Nov 29 - Dec 5th, Dec 13 - 24th.

Other side of mailer states to Ask about packages and other room types including Moderate, Deluxe and Deluxe Villa Resorts. Packages must be booked by March 31, 2009.

Again, my son is not an Annual Pass Holder, but I am and have yet to receive anything. It wouldn't hurt to call to see if you can get the discount.

This is the one I received today and there is a pin number attached. You find it right above the mailing address in a yellow box.
