40% off Passholders PIN code

We got that one too. But it didn't say anything about being a passholder.

We got the passholder email too!! It doesn't have our dates, but I'm callling anyway to compare it to what we already have (buy 4, get 3 deal). That deal listed our dates as "blackout" but I called anyway and got the discount, so who knows.

Just got a 40% email. The 4/3 deal is better for us since we are staying for 7 nights. Now I just have to convince DH that we need to go ahead and book our October stay!

n2mm: Does the wording you quoted a few pages ago "Passholder must present his or her valid adult Pass at check in" appear on your flyer? Or is it on the website or maybe your ressie confirmation?

I'm assuming the "As a Passholder, you'll find special events..." wording was on your flyer, right?

This is so weird. I have a 40% off Passholders flyer and none of that wording is on there--not the "present valid Pass" wording or the "special events" wording. Mine was geared to the "There is so much in life worth celebrating" theme.

I'm wondering how many different versions of the flyer (and the offer) there are out there.

I checked and it does not have that clause that the AP website has. I'm not sure if they classified this as an AP rate or just an offer to AP holders. It's a grey area for sure. I guess if it wants our APs at checkin, it may say on the confirmation sheet. I would still try, but whatever would you do at checkin if they insist that you do indeed have to prove you're an AP holder? Good luck and post back.

n2mm: Thanks so so much for the info. Much appreciated. If I do decide to book something, I will quadruple-check on this for the very reason you posted. Since we're going in 2 weeks on the 4/3 deal and we really hadn't planned on another WDW trip this year, I can't bring myself to make a reservation right now--even one that we'd cancel later. But I might change my mind before March 31st, which is the deadline on my mailer.

I too received the email pin code for passholders. We already booked the 4/3 deal for May 9-16th. However, we have been waiting for a room only since we do not need the 1 day tickets. According to the dates listed, ours is blacked out as is most of the month of May. Is it worth calling to see if the 40% could possibly be offered for our dates?

Thanks for posting this offer - I called and we had a code so I managed to get CR MK tower room with 40% off for 25th - 31st October. I wanted Atrium club but there were no rooms left so I'm going to keep trying just in case one comes up.

We just got the flyer and I going to call this morning but I want to be a little more prepared when I get on the phone.....I can change my dates a little inbetween..Jan31-Feb 16, we are staying 6 nites. Anyone know when daytona 500 starts? I remember that being a busy time and want to avoid it also trying to avoid bike week....too busy.

No, you will only get the discount for the nights that are within the date range. One night of our trip fell outside the dates (Christmas) so we are paying rack rate for that night.

The only one that was avialable was SSR during the dates we tried/ the offer was 2,207 for 6 nites. 2bdr villa. I think its a good rate but not really where we want to be.
Do you happen to know when bike week and daytona 500 is. we are trying to avoid crowds!

No, at AKL we are renting a friend's DVC points. We got the 40% off at the Beach Club for Christmas.

Bike week is Feb. 27-March 8. Just googled it!
