40% off Email!!

WOOOO HOOOO!!!! I called today and checked for a pin and there was one under my husbands name. YEAHHHHHHH:yay: :woohoo: :cool1: call and have them check under everyone's name in your houshold.

It's so weird, I called the other day to see about pricing a trip for later this year and asked if there was a pin attached to my name and she told me they weren't doing that anymore....:confused3

Congrats to you though!!:goodvibes

My sister and I are taking my daughter for her high school graduation present. Sure hope i get a pin or discount email. Would love to do the Poly. It's my home.....:cloud9:

You got incorrect information. I got the passholder email (been a passholder since 1995) and we had no problem booking 2 rooms at POR. One for us and one for my BFF. As in the past you can only book 3 rooms on one pin. While this offer was sent to passholders, the room is not really classified as a passholder rate. I got my confirmation and no where does it say passholder on it. Please call back and update us.

Okay. I have an update.

I called and didn't say a word about a pin or passholder or anything and just said that I would like to add a room to my reservation (I already had a reservation for one room w/ my pin and dining.) The cm I got went through the booking process with me and never asked if there was a passholder staying in that room, he just put on my reservation that the other room were "guests of" me so my pin could be used with the reservation.

I was able to use the pin with that reservation so I am psyched!
$89.00 per night for 4 nights at the Coronado.

N2MM: Thank you so much for posting your experience with the pin as a passholder, otherwise I would not be able to book both rooms at this time. Your comment really made a huge difference for my vacation - a big cheer for you! :cheer2:

Thanks for the update. Glad it worked out.

i received the email but unfortunately it will not work for us since the dates do not match up! i sure was hoping i could put it to use but alas, no luck! good luck to those hoping to receive one!:flower3:

So, I have a question... For those of us who have not received a 40% off pin code in the mail or email yet, will disney be continuing to roll out these emails? Is there a date when they stop sending them and if you didn't get one you're SOL? I just added two more email accounts to their mailing list in hopes of increasing my chances (since having a discount on our honeymoon would be fabulous).

Thanks =)

I called to see if I had a pin attached to my name. I had something attached to it. LOL

I'm not sure what I really got but here are the details:
Sept 6-19 ASMo
10 day base tix
Dining plan (1 TS, 1 CS, 1 snack)
Preferred room
Insurance

2 Adults, 2 Kids (6,7)
$3253.94

Regular package came out to be 3823.86 so a savings of 569.92.

Can someone shed the light for me...did I get the 40% off discount or something else?

TIA!!!

I found my 40% pin code in my spam mail. It came on the 5th. At first I did not realize it was for AP holders. I am a pass holder but was not planning on renewing it. I still booked while I think about it. I would rather have the 40% code that is for non pass holders. But should be happy with what I got.

i was so excited to finally get a pin code but looks like i can't use it. 2 of my 3 planned trips are blocked dates. i checked for POP in October but 40% off for my dates would still be $72/night. i went this year on the AP rate for those same dates and stayed for $59/night.

I know. I got the pin and only 1 of my 6 trips is within the date range. Actually not even a complete trip. Just the 2 days prior to the cruise. When I return (12/10) I will stay DVC as those dates are not within. I wanted to mention that your October trip is within the dates. You might want to book your trip with the code before it expires as a backup. If you watch the AP rates, as I always do, you will see that weekends were not included in this round of AP rates. While Sunday to Thursday were low, the weekends were high. I found with the 40% off the weekends were included, so you might want to crunch the numbers because a low AP rate for some days and rack rack for the weekend, still may be higher than the rate you were quoted for October. Hope that makes sense.

:woohoo: Wohoo! I had a pin sent to my email address yesterday but in my sisters name (we went last year and I had booked the rooms under my name for her family).. I called and they let me apply the discount to my stay in Sept since it came to my email addy.

7 days at POFQ 2 Adults- King room with Park Hoppers (No water parks)
for $ 1,550.65

My sister and brother both got a code via email. I seem to be subjected to the "middle child syndrome" by Disney, too! LOL:confused3

I got my pin code and booked for the end of October at the Poly GVCL for 7 nights. I saved over 1700.00.

We knew this past summer's trip would be our last for awhile. But I really felt bad during the Chirstmas school break - that's when I always plan our trip! Well, I finally got thru that, and made it back to school without calling Disney.

Then BAM! - I get the 40% discount email! My first ever.

I feel like Al Pacino - "They keep . . . pulling . . . me . . . back in . . ."

thanks for the suggestion. i may book it just to hold it but i always fear that with alot of people doing that, there is no need for additional discounts to be released. weekend aren't an issue for me as i prefer to go during the week.

Well, got an email room only code from disney destinations today - but for disneyLAND, guess because I'm west coast. Also something about a deal on passes as a socal resident (w/ included zip codes) - which doesn't apply to me, since I'm in nocal. Not sure what disney's marketing is thinking, to send me an offer on passes that doesn't apply to me, but let's me know other's are getting a better deal.
I still have the snailmail pin in mom's name for WDW - which hopefully I can use if I decide to go to WDW this year.

Please help.. I'm a newbie to receiving PINs. I just looked through my emails and found the 40% off PIN. I was hoping to stay at the cabins or OKW for an upcoming trip. Is this not possible w/ the PIN?

Check and see if your dates are covered by the offer, then call the no. in the offer and ask. You may find that w/ 40% off you have more options - like SSR, WLV, etc. for the price you'd planned on. Good luck!

Is everyone using it for Nov 29-Dec 5? I hope that doesn't mean big crowds! LOL! ;) We are booked for AsMo but I'm not that thrilled about our hotel choice. I really, really wanted a family suite at AsMu but there were none left using the pincode. We have a family of 6 so our affordable choices are very limited. Ugh.
