40% off email code- good for packages?

I booked resort only ressies with a magical 40% off email code (yay!) and didn't add park tickets because I figured I could add them later. But now I've seen at least one post where someone mentioned using their code as 40% off on a package.

So if anyone could clarify, that would be great; if it can include a package, I'll call to modify my reservations. The more money I can save, the better!

As far as a I know, the 40% is off your room only. Even if you book a package, the discount it still only off the room portion.
