Let's start with the basics: are you AAA members? If so, you can get a discount ranging from 10-20% off your room rates, depending on the resort and the season.

Also, go to the Disney website and order the trip planning DVD. Then price out a variety of options, at different resort levels. Aside from all you'll learn, you'll also get your name into the Disney system, and they'll know you're interested in visiting. There are no guarantees, but that may just get you a postcard with a PIN discount code.
