4 Parks in 1 Day

Did this the first week of June started at AK at rope drop, HS, Epcot, and MK to closing at midnight. We got a good bit done and we took a 2 hour break in between HS. It was fun to say we did it but I wouldn't recommend- you end up spending a lot of time on transportation and we were staying at the poly and using monorail. We also took a day off the next day.

We are doing it on our last day!

We did this on my birthday a few years ago too and also managed to throw in 2 resorts besides our own.
We started with CRT breakfast reservations before the MK opened, then rode a few rides right as the park was opening.
Then we took the monorail to Epcot and did the build-your-own-roller-coaster simulator at Innoventions.
From there we took a boat to Beach & Yacht club, where we had ice cream at Beaches & Cream (highly recommended!).
Then we took the boat to Hollywood, road RnRC, and saw a Beauty & the Beast show.
We ended at Animal Kingdom, back when AK used to do EMH at night. I don't think they do that anymore(?), or if they do, it doesn't go very late.
Since we were staying at Wilderness Lodge, we took a bus to Contemporary, ate dinner at their QS place, and then took the boat back to WL.

The next year, we did it again. Again we started at CRT, but this time we went to AK second, then Hollywood, then Epcot for dinner, and then back to HS for Fantasmic. It was fun but exhausting!

If you want to end with MK, I would start at AK, then take their bus to HS, then take the boat to Epcot (maybe stopping along the way for ice cream!), then take the monorail to MK.

Good luck! (Bonus points if you can throw DTD in there as well:thumbsup2)
We plan to take the boat from DHS to Epcot. Stopping at Beaches and Cream is a great idea!

My DH and I have done this a couple times.

We start at AK (hit EE and/or KS, and Primeval Whirl, maybe Nemo if time allows and w/ out FP)

Off to DHS (ride Star Tours, TofT, try single rider line for RNRc) the boat over to Epcot.

At Epcot we have experienced an attraction in World Showcase, Living with the Land, and Mission Space.

Then to MK via monorail. Check ride times on MDE if we don't already have FPs .

Stay until Park close for best ride chance w/out FP.

Just completed the 4-in-1 on July 11th. We had Memory Maker, so we had photos in each park, and rode at least one ride. We did not feel rushed at all, and we took a hotel break in the middle of the day.

It helps to have a car, and to be staying at a MK resort.

Have Fun!

Yes, we had MM too. That helped me, I didn't worry about lugging my "big" camera around that day. Just took a small point and shoot.

For our daughter's 10th birthday, we want to do all 4 parks in one day.

Our goal is to get a photo (with her bday button) with her and a character in each park. And ride a couple of attractions at each park. We don't have to do all the e ticket attractions, but we also don't want to just do Maelstrom and leave Epcot.

Anyone ever tried this?

What order did you do the parks?

We are planning to do MK last and stay late.

Would love to hear how this went for others.

Thanks!

Wow, I was just searching for info on this. We're going for my birthday in December and I want to do the 4 parks in one day challenge. We're ending at Hollywood Studios because they have late hours, but have no idea what order to do the other three parks in. Our goal is at least two rides/attractions in each park and one food item. Some challenges say you have to do three in each park, but I don't see us being able to do that on a Sunday! Good luck!

This past December for my husband's 40th birthday we did all 4 parks in 4 hours (40-4-4, get it). We were staying at FW and since it was the holidays (his birthday is Dec. 30) we were able to get into MK at like 6 am opening. We did one ride at each park and a photo. We did SM at MK, then Monorail to Epcot to do Test Track, walked back to catch the boat to HS, grabbed a baked good at Starring Rolls and did RnR, we did single rider but lines were starting to build and our rapid progress was slowed. After that we hopped the bus to AK and went to ride Everest. Lines were longer and we had a bit of a wait. Then we hit the Dawa Bar for a celebratory drink. It was a total blast!

Then we went back to our motorhome and slept. Fortunately my parents were with us and watched the kids or I don't think we would have gotten through as quickly.

I don't see how people do it, I never purchase park hoppers..To much to do in one park and takes time to move from park to park..I could not even imagine four parks in one day..:confused3

Last Dec on my last park day, I did all 4 parks. Started at AK since it had early hours and then went to MK, then Epcot and ended at HS. I wanted to end at MK, but I wanted to meet Merida and she stops meeting people at either 5 or 6 so I switched it up. I only rode EE and AK, but then Space, Buzz, met merida, bTMRR, Splash and HM, and a Dole whip at MK, Soarin at Epcot and saw a couple Holiday Storytellers (and got some salted caramels from Germany) and then used my fP+ for HS and did RnRC, ToT.and TSM (I got in before tiers). Ended the night with Osborne Lights and i think I was back at Pop around 7:30. It was a great day. All my fave rides and my fave treats too!

With a car it can be fairly easy to do 4 parks and even add another destination such as DTD or minigolf. We've done it many times. The crucial planning involves which park is open late and where your starting resort is. For us, we stay at the Poly so we usually get the furthest parks first starting at AK, then DTD, then DHS followed by a return to the Poly. Then monorail to either Epcot or MK depending which is open latest then the last park which is the one which is open latest which is usually MK. That makes 5. Four is easy and five may or may not be available depending somewhat on your home resort. Good luck and have fun.

I will say when I did it, I was by myself since my friend was "parked out". It was day 7 our last day and had already planned on going to 3 parks and when I realized AK had AM EM, I decided to go. Next trip, is with my sis and her family. We aren't planning on getting hoppers. But for adult/solo trips, I love having them.

Thanks everyone for the tips! :thumbsup2

We did it!

You can read the full trip report here - http://www.wdwfamilystyle.com/4-parks-in-1-day-by-bus-boat-monorail-and-train/

We even counted steps! We did 11.26 miles that day.

Tons of fun and a great way to spend a birthday. Definitely will do it again.

AMAZING! OP, I enjoyed reading your review. Looks like you guys had an awesome time. Your DD is beautiful and has a big smile on her face, its a birthday she will always remember. :goodvibes

For us, Park Hoppers are a must. Parks like AK and Epcot close so early in the summer that we would feel like the day was incomplete without hoppers. Plus, the travel time between parks is our break time.

Unfortunately, my B-day is on a Sunday and no park has early opening. I have booked Boma's for first breakfast time, and then plan to hop to AK, MK, Epcot and end at Hollywood Studios with dinner at 50's Prime Time --since I was born in the 50's, seemed the most appropriate. I don't doubt we can do it, but am wondering if I should rethink the breakfast at Boma's for a breakfast at a park instead.

I think I had a Disney breakfast of Champions which included some Joffrey's coffee, Mickey rice Krispy treat and a banana.=) As long as you can get to AK close to RD you're probably fine. Unless you could use a little more sleep. I'm sure you'll have fun for sure.

Sorry -- what does "RD" mean? :confused3 Thanks

Rope Drop = park opening

Thank you. This may sound crazy, but I was wondering if I should shoot over to MK first since that may be crazy on a Sunday and then back to AK, then to Epcot and end at HS !?! Ugh, I need a drink
