My wife and I are thinking about doing a Cruise in 2023. We will have 4 kids ages 2, 4, 7, and 8. The In Laws might want to go, but not sure what the best advice for this would be. Thanks so much.

You’ll need 2 rooms as it’s max 5 heads.

the first 2 heads in a room are ‘adult rate’ regardless of age so the most overall economical would be to bring the in-laws and stick 2 kids in each room (how you actually choose to sleep is on you)

We did exactly this - 2 adults, plus 4 kids (4, 6, 7 and 9), plus my mom. We booked fairly late and ended up with connecting rooms on deck 1 (or whatever the lowest deck is). We were really apprehensive about the location but LOVED it. We split the kids between our room and my mom’s room and it worked really well (but if my Dad had joined it might have driven him 😜). We also bought 1 photo package and on embarkation day we let the photo centre know that we had kids in both rooms. We ended up with all of the photos - even the ones with my mom solo. The kids enjoyed going back and forth between the connecting rooms. We enjoyed it so much we did a second cruise the following year with the exact same set-up!
