4 For a Dollar (before Beauty and Beast Show)

Anyone else absolutely love the accapella group that performs before the Beauty and the Beast show at MGM? I have their CD and it is excellent! Their Christmas one is great too.

We bought their Christmas CD as well. Really enjoy it! I am thinking of picking up the other one when we go next month so I can add it to my collection of "Disney" CD's. I love their sound!

Their regular CD is even better than the Christmas one. It has songs like "Oh What a Night," "Love Potion Number 9," "Spinning Wheel," "Down in Jamaica." ::sigh:: It's great! You feel like you're in Disney all over again.

We have seen Beauty and the Beast on every trip, but just saw 4 for a Dollar for the first time in Dec. They were awesome! We loved them and we really excited to realize they are regulars and we've just missed them!

I always make sure they're performing before I sit for the show. A CM told me they're off on Sunday's and Monday's. I wonder if that still holds true.

We were there on Monday and I'd told my Mom and sister how people raved about the pre-show entertainment - but they didn't perform. I never asked anyone why they weren't there - but perhaps it was their day off.

They are fantastic, but sadly were not there on our last trip. After reading the above post, maybe we 'll avoid Sunday and Monday at MGM this year.

According to the Live Entertainment website -- Four For A Dollar never are regularly off on Sundays and Mondays so if its important to see them - go on Tuesday through Saturday!

They sell their CD's in the store next to the amphitheatre or in the New York area at Youse Guys Moichendise.
