Hola!

Welcome to the Pre-Trip Report for moi, Amanda Sparks! :woohoo:

Wait....

Are you still listening?

I haven't bored you yet?

You sure?

Then let's begin!

**Warning: Extreme geekiness ahead!!**

Alrighty then, let's move on to the cast:

DM (42) : A true Disney Geek. She's going a bit...overboard...with the planning for this trip so far! A Staff Trainer/Family Services Coordinator, she would love a nice vacation. Favorite character: Eeyore. Favorite park: Unknown. Known on the DIS as mominRI. A.K.A.: Eeyore.

DF (42) : Another Disney Geek. A bit annoyed with all of mom's planning! :rotfl: A General Manager at Chuck E. Cheese's, he REALLY needs a vacation. Favorite character: Grumpy/Pluto/Goofy. Favorite park: unknown. Is not found on the DIS :sad2: A.K.A.: Grumpy.

Me (14) : The biggest Disney Geek in the family. Loves Pin Trading, watching Disney movies both old and new, and snuggling with Stitch doll. :lovestruc Watches WDW/DL specials obssessively on the Travel Channel, listens to Disney Music on her iPod, and loves to read travel guides on WDW. Occupation: HS student :teacher: Has hearing loss, scholiosis, and Fanconi's Anemia*. So excited to go back to WDW! Favorite character: Stitch/Mulan. Favorite park: DHS. Side note: Bisexual. A.K.A. Belle.

Aly (14) : Best friend to me. Another major Disney geek. Also loves to watch all Disney movies. Also listens to Disney Music on HER iPod! Has slight OCD. Occupation: HS student with me. Has never been to WDW before! She is extremely excited to go! Favorite character: Pooh. Favorite park: yet to come! Side note: Lesbian. Can occasionally be found on the DIS as xxlionloverxx! A.K.A. Pooh.

* Fanconi's Anemia is a combination of amemia and a bone marrow disorder. It's genetic, and pretty rare. This means I can't do any contact sports (gym is a bummer), or anything where I could get a head injury. I also bruise extremely easily, and sometimes, my blood has trouble clotting. My blood counts (platelet, red blood cell, white blood cell, hemoglobin, etc) are generally lower than "normal" people's. They have risen dramatically since I was diganosed, though. Then: around 15,000 (or lower!). Now: 125-130,000. "Normal" is about 125-150,000! Whoot! I have to only yearly have a bone marrow test, in which I must to go the hospital, be put to sleep for 15-25 minutes, and they take a sample of bone marrow from my hip to test and make sure everything's ok. So far, so good! :goodvibes

Additional information:

PETS:

Esmerelda (turning 13, we think) : Cat. Gray and white shorthair. I named her after Esmerelda the gypsy from Hunchback of Notre Dame (whom I was obssessed with as a toddler).

Sam (9?) : Cat. Male Maine Coon, and gorgeous! Came already named, this furball can be quite mischievous, and cranky when woken from naps.

Scooby (8) : Dog, male. Such a cutie, this little guy is a Peek-a-Poo (Pekingese/Poodle) :cutie: Loves to act tough and cuddle up with Mommy and big sis

Scooby will (most likely) be going with "cousin" Lucy (dog) and her Mommy (dad's sister) and "cousins" Apples and Teddy (cats), most likely "cousin" Greg too.

Sam and Esmerelda will stay home and inside (Sam is outdoor cat). We will have a neighbour or someone come over to feed them.

OH I almost forgot the most important info here!

Who: See above re: cast
What: WDW Trip!
When: August 15-21 (and the 15 is Aly's b-day!)
Where: Port Orleans Riverside (our first Moderate resort!)
Why: We haven't been since '03, and we're all dying to go back (or for the first time)!

As an aspiring writer, I'll be trying my best on this report. Hopefully, it'll be better than my USO/IoA TR! I'll update when I can, but with school, it'll be a bit less often.

So sit back :happytv:

Relax :cloud9:

Grab the popcorn popcorn::

Days til WDW: 4 months, 3 weeks, 4 days! :dance3: :yay: :woohoo: :cool1:    :cheer2:

And please read!

Sounds awesome! Can't wait to hear all about the planning! :)

Why, thanks, Jenny!! Wow, the first (and only) response :goodvibes so mad props to you! :worship:

I'll update sometime late this week/next week. The planning shall take a while to explain, as it was a quite lengthy process, but I'll make it as entertaining as possible

Ah, where do we begin?

Well, let's take a trip back to...an amazing December '07. The Deciding of Where and When This Year's Family Vacaction Is.

Going back to when I was a little girl, here are our past trips:

1995: WDW (hotel--unknown. Age: 2. Time: unknown)
1997: WDW (hotel--All-Star Music. Age: 4. Time: Halloween)
1998: Myrtle Beach, SC (stayed at grandparent's condo. Age: 5. Time: summer)
1999: WDW (Make-A-Wish wish trip. Stayed at Give Kids The World, for kids with Make-A-Wish and other such foundations. Age: 6. Time: Late Nov/Early Dec. An amazing trip!!)
2003: WDW (hotel--All-Star Sports. Age: 10. Time: Late Nov/Early Dec.)
2004: Riveria Maya, Mexico (hotel--Iberostar Del Mar. Age: 10. Time: June. Amazing!)
2005: Riveria Maya, Mexico (hotel--Iberostar Lindo. Age: 11. Time: May)
2006: Punta Cana, Domicinan Republic (hotel--Iberostar Punta Cana. Age: 12. Time: June)
2007: Universal Orlando/Islands of Adventure (hotel--Royal Pacific Resort. Age: 13 on arrival, turned 14 while there. Time: Late July/First day of August)
2008: WDW!!! (hotel--Port Orleans Riverside. Age: 15. Time: August)

We began searching in November/December for this time's trip.

Cruise to Bahamas/Carribbean?

Nope.

Dad's claustrophobic and is convinced that the rooms will be too small. (Mom and I said yes, though!)

Busch Gardens Tampa?

Nope.

Not much to see.

Williamsburg VA/Busch Gardens Williamsburg?

Nope.

Well, actually, we were leaning towards that a lot, but in the end was rejected.

California?

Nope.

Too expensive, too much flying. (Would've done DL/DCA, Magic Mountain, USH, etc. Hey, I liked the idea!)

Mexico again?

Nope.

We've done it recently, want to wait til I can get in the new adult's only hotel in the chain we love.

Another island?

Nope.

Not anywhere good and all-inclusive to stay.

Bahamas/Atlantis?

Nope.

Too expensive.

Let's see....

Thinking.....

Nothing.....

Nothing at all....?

Think again, Mom.

Mom: How would you feel about going back to Disney?
Me: !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'D LOVE TO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Mom: Let's see about the prices, and we'll think about it.
Me: SQUEE!!!!!!!!

After much deliberating, it's final; we're going back to WDW!
Now, as for the hotel...

Coming up next: Choosing the hotel, Magic Your Way package, DDP, and making ADR's.

Well, it's time for another update...as it is almost the 4-month-mark!

Now, where was I?

Ah, yes.

First, let's start with the easiest thing.

"Which hotel should we stay at?"

Previous years, we've stayed at the All-Star Music and All-Star Sports. It's time for...an upgrade!

Carribbean Beach?

REJECTED.

Port Orleans French Quarter.

TOO EXPENSIVE.

Port Orleans Riverside.

Hmm...this looks good. Nice rooms, good value...decent price...and with that 40% off coupon...we could pull this one off!

So, POR it is. Reservations: made. Next step: Magic Your Way.

Simple, really.

Just get the "Plus fun" (what's the name of that one?) with the DisneyQuest and water parks.

Extra bonus topic: which water park to go to?

TL? Went there last time.

BB? None of us have been there, so BB it is! Simple and easy. We were going to go to BB last time, but it was December, so they closed it for refurb.

Next: DDP.

Ok, called in. Ordered. Perfect! Mom likes this, it saves on money. We especially liked Columbia Harbour House and the Sunshine Seasons Food Fair last year.

Mom asks the Big Question:

"What Table Service restaurants do we want to eat at?"

As you know, I LOVE Stitch, so O'hana's character breakfast was my choice.

Also, as you know, Aly loves Pooh, so Crystal Palace dinner was the way to go.

Dad's turn to pick now. He loves Pluto and Goofy, so he picked Liberty Tree Tavern's character dinner.

Mom's turn. Her idea to pick the most expensive restaurants, so she picks the Tutto Italia in Italy (EPCOT) and the Japan restaurant (EPCOT...not sure on the name here)

We call the ADR number.

Waiting....

Waiting....

Waiting....

WHOO HOO!! We get everything we want! :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

Upon booking the whole trip, Mom had a little conversation with the CM. As soon as they are finishing, Mom hears...

"No, no, no!!"

The computers all crashed!!

:scared: :scared1:

The CM got lucky, and all of our things were there when the computer rebooted. :goodvibes

So far, so good!

Now, you're probably wondering how Aly and I became friends. (Ok, maybe you're NOT wondering, but in case you are...)

FlAsHbAcK

Ah, 8th grade. Right before High School. A chance to prove yourself.

Anyway.

We were in the same homeroom (yes, homeroom. It was only 10 minutes, though. This year in HS, they got rid of homeroom...)

But going on.

We didn't talk for...well, awhile! Funny thing was, our lockers were right next to each other. We exchanged maybe a "hi" or "thanks" or "excuse me" here and there, but not an actual conversation.

So how did we become friends, then?

It was a little more than a year ago, March '07. We were at my lockers, and I was putting my books together, so I was on the floor (we had top lockers). (May I add I had a LOT of books/notebooks, because I'm in honors class, not to brag or anything. Proudest thing in honors: National Junior Honor Society last year!) My backpack was in my locker. What I didn't notice was that it was leaning out...dangerously leaning out...about to fall on my head! Just before it did, Aly reached over, and stopped it. (we still laugh about her "saving my life" to this day!) Ever since then, we've been almost inseperable. Our best friend (other best friend, hers and mine) formally introduced us.

The rest, as they say, is pretty much history.

Now, she's the best friend anyone could ask for, really. She's kind, extremely caring, sensitive, comforting, sweet, and just...an absoultely amazing person. We're practically sisters. We know everything about each other and, well, we love each other like sisters. She's an amazing awesome person and well...I'm proud to call her my friend!

Coming up next: The DVD arrives! The DVD arrives! And the customized maps! And my new Tinkerbelle messenger bag!! WHOO HOO!!

Fine, no one read this! I'll be fine!

(Where did y'all go? Deserting me, I see? Just kidding, I'll forgive you guys!)

Ha, that was weird for me, saying y'all, when I'm a New England gal!

Uh uh uh hi! I'm Scooby! Uh uh uh I'm a dog! Or am I? I dunno what I am. Anyways, I'm cute! :cutie: And I love it when my big sissy snuggles with me! I think she should be doing work for that thing uh what's it called? Skool? Yeah, skool! But she's listening to that little white box thing again. What's it called? An eyee pod? That's a silly name! :rotfl:

Ugh, you're so stupid. It's SCHOOL. And an iPod. Humans listen to music on it. Judging from the way she's been acting, she's listening to that musical again. What's it called? Ah, yes, RENT. This is Sam. I am a fantastic cat. Gorgeous, really. My tail is my best quality, although I am extremely handsome all around. Ignore the dog. It's all about the CAT, didn't you humans know that? My human sister isn't bad. She lets me sleep on her bed.

Uh...hi. This is Esmerelda. I...I'm a cat. I get very...nervous around humans. When...when I was younger...these men...they broke into my house...and it was SCARY!! :scared: Uh...I like tuna. And chicken. I'm an old-er cat, but I'm a princess. Really, I am! My sister...she's nice and all...she brushes me all pretty. I love being brushed.

We know you do, sister. Anyway, yes, our human sister should be writing a paper for school. I do believe this is her vacation, though. She has time. At least this vacation is just hers. I don't like it when the whole family leaves.

I don't either! They...they leave me all alone and WAHHH!!! :sad1: Ah well. I get my own puppy vacation! Yay! Uh anyway I'm a dog and I'm cute! :dog2:

Uh...you already said that...

THIS IS INJUST! THEY HAVE 3 DOG SMILIES AND 1 CAT SMILEY?! UGH!

But I think it's cute...:cat:

Of course you would.

HI HI HI HI HI HI HI HI

SHUT UP DOG!!!!!!!

Guys...why can't you all get along?

What are you guys doing on my computer?

Scooby did it!

Ah.

Time to run!

Indeed.

Bye peoples! Bye bye bye bye bye

O...kay...then. I don't want to know what they do when I'm not home. They haven't been bothering you guys, have they?

Good.

ON WITH THE SHOW!!

Yes, I do have an essay to write. And yes, this is April vacation for me (aka Spring Break). And yes, I am listening to my iPod.

Anyway.

The DVD came a few weeks ago! YEAH! Mom and I put it in right away, and began to watch. I believe we watched the entire WDW side (I'll go back and watch the DL/DCA side another time).

And.

We.

Can't.

Wait.

To.

Go!!

The customized maps arrived soon after, and we planned out a good route, marking our ADR restaurants and favorites.

Mom ordered a messenger bag for me on the Disney shopping website. I am now the proud owner of a lavendar messenger bag, with my nickname and Tinkerbell embroidered on it. :tink:

So now what to do?

Watch Travel Channel specials?

YEAH!

We watched the Sam Brown's Favorites one the other night. The "Disney SPLURGE!" one is set to record on my DVR for Friday. :hyper:

Now I'm just going to put some random facts about me, just so you get a better sense of who I am.

Name: Call me Amanda, or Meg.

Age: You'll see on my birthday.

Sign: Leo.

Element: FIRE! :furious:

Grade in school: 9.

Status: Single.

Orientation: Bisexual.

Those are just the basics, really. I could go on and on, but I don't want to...really...I'm shy!

Song of the moment: I Will Be by Avril Lavigne.

Here are the lyrics:
There’s nothing I can say to you
Nothing I could ever do to make you see
What you mean to me
All the pain the tears they cry
Still you never said goodbye and now I know how far you’d go
I know I let you down, but its not like that now
This time I’ll never let you go

I will be all that you want and get myself together
'Cause you keep me from falling apart
All my life I’ll be with you forever
To get you through the day and make everything OK

I thought that I had everything
I didn’t know what life could bring
But now I see honestly
You're the one thing I got right
The only one I let inside
Now I can breathe 'cause you're here with me
And if I let you down I’ll turn it all around
'Cause I would never let you go

I will be all that you want and get myself together
'Cause you keep me from falling apart
All my life I’ll be with you forever
To get you through the day and make everything OK

'Cause without you, I can’t sleep
I’m not gonna ever ever let you leave
You’re all I got
You’re all I want
Yeah
And without you I don’t know what I’ll do
I could never ever live a day without you
Here with me do you see you're all I need?

(Chorus X2)

Cute, huh?

Oh, and Friday, April 25, is National Day of Silence.

Join the silence for the GLBTQ community. Don't grow up in silence. Don't grow up in fear. For more info, check out www.dayofsilence.org

:rainbow: Rainbow pride!

Coming up next: Whatever I decide to put next! Muahahaha!

Yes, it's...that time again!

The Time of Random Updates.

Let's see...

Ah yes, Day of Silence. Trust me, I like to talk a lot (quite the improvement from previous years) and going a day was difficult, but I made it!

In other news, my high school's band and chorus/chorale went to Baltimore for this music festival. And they won first place in everything that they entered!!

So congrats to the PHS band and chorus!!

Oh yes, Amanda is happy. Amanda is going to NYC next weekend to see her favorite musical in the world....

Any guesses on what it is?

It's....

WICKED!!!

 :cool1: :woohoo: :worship: :thumbsup2 :yay: :dance3: :cheer2: :upsidedow :cloud9: :goodvibes :lovestruc

So, hoo-ray (or Hip Hip POOH-ray!) for this news!!

The countdown to WDW is quickly reaching the 3-month mark. So that's great! And only 5 weeks of Freshman year (not counting exam week) left to go!!

Amanda is all excited. Amanda has her Wicked and her dance recital coming up.

Amanda is nervous about being the opening number for dance recital. (well at least it's my class so there's people with me!)

Amanda is NOT excited for finals looming near! :scared:

Did Amanda mention she's bad at math?

Did she mention she has an exam in Alegebra 2 Honors (which is technically a Junior year course) and she's not good at math?

:scared1: :scared1: :scared1: :scared1: :scared1:

:headache:

Well, that's all the time we have for today in the Random Update!

Amanda needs to get her butt out the door to school.

She also needs to send this link to Jenny!

EDIT: Amanda wanted to add the inspiring lyrics to her newest favorite song:

Brave by Idina Menzel

Don't know just where I'm going
And tomorrow, it's a little overwhelming
And the air is cold
And I'm not the same anymore
I've been running in your direction
For too long now
I've lost my own reflection
And I can't look down
If you're not there to catch me when I fall.

If this is the moment I stand here on my own
If this is my rite of passage that somehow leads me home
I might be afraid
But it's my turn to be brave
If this is the last chance before we say goodbye
At least it's the first day of the rest of my life
I can't be afraid
'Cause it's my turn to be brave

All along all I ever wanted, was to be the light
When your life was daunting
But I can't see mine
When I feel as though you're pushing me away
Well who's to blame, are we making the right choices?
'Cause we can't be sure if we're hearing our own voices
As we close the door, even though we are so desperate to stay

If this is the moment I stand here on my own
If this is my rite of passage that somehow leads me home
I might be afraid
But it's my turn to be brave
If this is the last chance before we say goodbye
At least it's the first day of the rest of my life
I can't be afraid
'Cause it's my turn to be brave

And I might still cry
And I might still bleed
These thorns in my side
This heart on my sleeve
And lightening may strike
This ground at my feet
And I might still crash
But I still believe

This is the moment I stand here all alone
With everything I have inside, everything I own
I might be afraid
But it's my turn to be brave
If this is the last time before we say goodbye
At least it's the first day of the rest of my life
I can't be afraid
'Cause it's my turn to be brave

Fabulous! :goodvibes:

Ohmygodddddddddd, you got one of those messenger bags too? I made a thread about them on TPAS and it became a total revolution. 30 something pages! *whew*

Mine is blue with Mickey on it. :)

Aww yeahhh! I think I responded to that thread, lol. I can't wait to use mine!!! :)

OK, so here's the lowdown.

Amanda freeeezing right now. Is very cold here. Cold for May. Cold and rainy. Yucky. Like, curl-up-with-a-blankie-and-watch-movies weather.:cold:

Amanda has also found a new obsession in musicals. Spring Awakening! So pretty. So angst-y. So...amazing. So wonderfully amazing. :lovestruc :mic:

Anyways.

Amanda's off to NYC tomorrow! To see Wicked! With...*insert drumroll here* Stephanie J. Block!! :stir: Heeeeheeeeheeee.

And Amanda's also frustrated. Algebra 2 Honors should be illegal. Actually, Algebra 2 in general should be illegal. It's so confusing! Amanda has to drop outta Honors math next week. Nope, no Geometry Honors for Amanda. Not at all. What a shame. :rolleyes2

Moving on.

So, it's NYC tomorrow.

Then the big dance recital is...next month! Followed by a LOVELY week of final exams. And then, June 13...

WE'RE HISTORY!! NO MORE FRESHMAN YEAR!!

:cool1:  :woohoo: :dance3: :yay: :cheer2: :beach: :hyper: :hyper2: :jumping1: :rainbow: :teeth:

Wait...is Amanda getting all excited about no more school? Shame on Amanda! :charac2:

:rolleyes2

Anywho.

So the lineup issssss....

May 10: NYC!
June 6: Recital!
June 13: SCHOOL'S OUT!
June 20: Sleepover at my best friend's house for the premiere of Camp Rock on the Disney Channel!! Can you say JONAS BROTHERS?

Oh, and this post is dedicated to the following people:
My friend(s) who have birthdays tomorrow!
And all moms out there! Happy Mother's Day!! :flower3:

UP NEXT: Another another random update!

It's good to see me, isn't it? No need to respond--that was rhetorical!

Well, she's back!

Yes, back from NYC. Here's a little mini-TR for you: NYC Style!

WAKE UP: 5:30 a.m.

Pack the bag, with 3 (count 'em, 3) books, Walkman (no chance of losing my new iPod, besides, the batteries die quickly), and c.d.'s. Disney music to set the Disney mood for the WDW trip, Avril Lavigne for relaxation, and Broadway music just to set the mood in general!

Eat breakfast, watch some cartoons, and it's out the door by 6:30. The drive to the mall where the bus will pick us up is uneventful. Actually, the bus was 10 minutes late, but we were still on our way! After a quick stop to pick up more people, we're officially off to NYC!

Disney music is blasting. Reading Anthony Rapp's autobiography. All is well. Ride is uneventful up until the usual McDonald's stop in CT. We get there around 9:00 (so far, so good!) I call the grandfather to say "Happy Birthday" (1/4 birthdays that day!! :scared1: ) and we're off slightly before 9:30. Uh-oh, stuck in a traffic jam! :scared1: No problemo, we're through. In the city (yes, THE CITY) by 10:30!! Wow, what good timing! Got dropped off near Rockerfeller Center.

And so it begins...

MISSION #1: Hit the World of Disney store on 5th Avenue.

It was about a 5 minute walk, not bad. That place is HUGE! So we go in, and get FREE MICKEY STICKERS!! :cool1: After, we go upstairs to the second level for some browsing. After exclaiming over all the Mr. Potato Head pieces, we head up to the third level, and run into a Photopass person! *Click Click* (The pictures, needless to say, didn't come out that well...) Back down to the main level, where...could it really be...racks of...PIN TRADING!?!

 :lovestruc

Ka-ching! I bought a new lanyard (black, red Mickey heads), a "Stitch-as-Elvis" pin (rhinestone studded), a ToT pin with Stitch cutting the cord to the elevator (when you open the doors), and a "Broadway" pin (only in NYC!) with Mickey and Minnie on it. BONUS PIN FOR SPENDING OVER $30 IN PINS: Limited Edition "Hidden Mickey" pin that says "Pin Traders, World of Disney, NYC". :woohoo:

MISSION #1: COMPLETE.

Now, Amanda is low on money. Amanda sad. Amanda talking in third person.

Anyway.

Mom and I head over to McDonald's (hey, we didn't EAT at that other one, just went in for a restroom/gift shop break!) and eat a quick lunch.

MISSION #2: Get a little framed Phantom of the Opera picture on the streets. Great, found one! I think it was about $10 (compared to $5 last December; depends on the guy you buy it from!)

MISSION #2: COMPLETE.

MISSION #3: Broadway store under the Marriott (sp?) Marquis!

Found it again! Right across from The Lion King! Items bought: A little card with some of the theatres lit up at night. Time spent browsing: A LOT!! Small-ish store, but packs in a lot!

MISSION #3: COMPLETE.

MISSION #4: Mom wants a trash-bag purse.

We walk along, and she purchases an umbrella. ($15 on the street, $39.99 in the store. Same umbrella. Unbeatable.) (I know what you're thinking, "umbrella, ella, ella, eh eh eh..." The umbrella is now named Ella.) Then, we find him! Trash bag guy! If you've ever been to NYC before, you know what I mean. Prada or Gucci? We end up getting a Chanel purse. $40 (heh heh, love that negotiating!). Well..."Chanel" really...good knockoff, though!)

MISSION #4: COMPLETE.

Now, it's about 1:00, and we make our way over to the Gershwin. WICKED!!! WICKED!!! WICKED!!! THE EXCITEMENT BEGINS!!!

Good news: No wait at Will Call for tickets.

Bad news: No Stephanie J. Block. Off day or something. :sad1: The understudy: Chelsea Kumbach. GREAT seats (once seated). Row S, Orchestra Left-ish. Awesome view!

Oooh, the lights dim and the amazing "dah dah dah dah dah" from "No One Mourns The Wicked" starts! Turn those gears, monkeys!

Let me just say, the stage is MUCH bigger than here, and you can see much, much more. Annaleigh made her appearance, and was absoultely amazing. After hearing her in Legally Blonde: The Musical, I was a bit apprehensive of her high notes, but she went right into it. Dear Old Shiz went off without a hitch, and led to see Galinda's perky side, and Elphaba's powers. The Wizard and I wasn't what I had hoped (maybe I'm used to Idina and Shoshana singing it), but she still sold it. What Is This Feeling? was stunning, the harmony between the two girls flawless.

Something Bad and the classroom scene were great. Stunned silence fell over the entire theatre when Dr. Dillamond reveals the "Animals Should Be Seen And Not Heard". Not a SINGLE sound! Dancing Through Life gave way to Fieyro and his "empty-headedness". This scene was also great, although I felt that Elphie's "solo" dance was a bit rushed. Popular was GREAT, as usual! The "lion cub" scene was powerful, and led into I'm Not That Girl (song of my life), which Chelsea sang MUCH better. One Short Day had amazing visuals, and A Sentimental Man was great. This Wizard was quite good. The "transformation" of Chistery and the monkeys was great! Defying Gravity. Two words. Two women. One amazing song. Listen to it. NOW!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TNv6cFUvU9s

Back? GREAT!! Here's my YouTube Channel if you want more:

http://www.youtube.com/user/IWillBeHers

Ok, so curtain goes down, and Mom sets off to concessions. Comes back with a Wicked hoodie! Yay!! I'm wearing it now, with my Wicked t-shirt (which I purchased when I saw the tour). It's amazingness.

Anyway.

Thank Goodness went off well, leading into The Wicked Witch of the East (my FAVVVORITE song that's NOT in the OBCR!) and I was glad to see it again. **SPOLIER: YOU COULD REALLY HEAR THE GASP OF THE AUDIENCE WHEN BOQ TURNS INTO THE TIN MAN!!** Wonderful went off well, as well as I'm Not That Girl (reprise). As Long as You're Mine was beautiful, as usual, and the cornfield smackdown was GREAT!! (Fieyro: LET THE GREEN GIRL GO!!) FIIIIIIIIIIIIEEEEEEEEEEEEYYYYYYYYRRRRRRRROOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! (Coolest sound/voice change effect EVER!!) Then it was No Good Deed (great) leading into the March of the Witch Hunters, and my favorite, For Good (yes, I cried!) Finale was beautiful and haunting.

Left the theatre in high spirits! Puchased a Broadway poster, and 4 mini posters of musicals (4 for $10! Special deal for moi!)

Walked around for awhile, stopping at a Godiva (GOOOOD-iva! GODLY chocolate!) and I got a double-chocolate brownie :cloud9:

Walked around a little more, and waited for the bus to come. It picked us up at 6:30. Great, everyone's here, let's go!

Read some more Anthony Rapp (while listening to RENT!) and sat back. Stopped at Mickey D's around 8:00-ish. Made it back over the border of RI around 9:30. We were off the bus by 10:00, and home by 10:10.

Only to find that someone STOLE OUR LIGHTS!!

Yes, our nice solar lights that we JUST BOUGHT!!

:headache:

(We still haven't found them)

My mini-pics and card are on my wall. All is well (except...Wicked withdrawl...)

Oh, remember when I said "1/4" birthdays? Well, the other two were my friend's Dad, and two of my friends!

And only I would give my guy friend the Phantom of the Opera, Wicked, and RENT Original Cast Recordings! He likes them, though (had seen the RENT and POTO movies and likes them. Wants to see Wicked live!!)

Anyway, so thus concludes this special, Elphie-green edition of "4 Disney Geeks Take on the World"!

Tune in next for: Finals, Recitals, and Camp Rock, oh my!

Ok, so I lied. But here's a mini-update.

We've switched some ADR's around.

Yes. Now we're going to 50's PTC instead of Tokyo.

And...

Instead of LTT...

CHEF MICKEY'S!!

We've NEVER been to the Contemporary, so that's exciting!

Woohoo!!

As soon as I can figure out how to post pictures...

The next installment will be...

THE TRAVELS OF AN INTERGALACTIC EXPERAMENTATION!

AKA

STITCH!!

Yes, Stitch shall be our fa-bu-lous trip mascot! I've taken lovely shots of Stitch all around my room, making new friends, meeting celebrities...oh, well, you'll see!

Until then, Amanda Sparks is signing off!
