Hello! I am planning on purchasing the current special ticket for Florida Residents - the Four Days Four Parks ticket. My mom was asking me if you had to visit all four parks (one per day) and I said I didn't think so...that it was like a base ticket and you pick whatever parks you want each day - even if it's Magic Kingdom all four times. But then I got to thinking about it and wanted to confirm with you lovely DIS people that I am right about that! We have only ever bought Park Hoppers, so I am not familiar with the base tickets. This time we want to spend two days in Magic Kingdom and two days in Epcot.

Sorry if this is a silly question, but the special ticket is non-transferable, so I want to make sure we are getting exactly what we need. Thanks!:wizard:

Here is a page I found. It seems you can use them as you wish:

"Available only to Florida residents, this special ticket provides admission for 4 days to any of the 4 Walt Disney World® theme parks most dates from now until until May 25, 2010. (The 4 days do not need to be consecutive, admission is for one park per day and blackout dates apply.*)

[promotional garb omitted...]

*Pass valid from 1/3/2010 - 3/26/2010 and 4/10/2010 - 5/25/2010. One theme park per day. Proof of Florida residency required. Pass is nontransferable and excludes activities/events separately priced. Purchase by May 21, 2010."

Thanks. It does sound like you can use them like a base ticket. I'm sure I could also email Disney and ask too.

Thanks. I did look at that, but it still didn't address my question of which parks you can use it for. My confusion was with the name of the offer - 4 Days 4 Theme Parks. It made the offer sound like you had to use it for all four parks (1 per day) and if that were true, it would not be the right ticket for us, as we are not visiting Animal Kingdom or DHS this trip.

19B. Florida Resident Four Day Dream Pass

This is a special promotion for Florida Residents only for the purchase of a four day pass for $99 (Adult) or $84 (Ages 3-9) plus tax. All normal Florida Resident rules for purchase and activation apply.

The hopping option can be added for $26 and the WPF&M option can be added for $26.

The tickets will be sold up until May 25, 2010 at WDW or until May 21, 2010 and off-site locations. All tickets are valid until 11:59pm on Tuesday, May 25, 2010 even if there are unused entitlements. The No Expire option cannot be added.

The tickets are blocked out and cannot be used March 27 to April 9, 2010, inclusive. Normal Play-4 tickets are available for purchase while this promotion is going on; these have no blockout dates and six month validity.

Florida Residents may upgrade one day MYW tickets to the Dream Pass. For upgrades from the Dream Pass no additional price bridging is allowed, the value will be $99, $125, or $151, depending if there are zero, one, or two options. If the upgrade adds days, and it is more than 14 days from date of first use, the No Expire option must be purchased.

It is like any other four day Base ticket. You can use it at any or all of the parks, the only restriction is that you can only visit one park on one day. If you want to use all four days at one park you may do so.

One day at each of four parks
Two days at one park and one day at each of two other parks
Two days at one park and two days at another park
Three days at one park and one day at another park
Four days at one park

I think that is all possible combinations.

What are the blackout dates of this year? I'm getting the Dream pass on the 2nd term.

The Florida Resident Seasonal Pass is blocked out over the following periods.

Christmas/New Years 12/19/09 Through 01/01/10
Easter 03/27/10 Through 04/09/10
Summer 06/12/10 Through 08/19/10
Christmas/New Years 12/18/10 Through 01/01/11

2011 Block-Out Dates
Christmas/New Years 12/18/10 Through 01/01/11
Easter 04/16/11 Through 04/28/11
Summer 06/11/11 Through 08/18/11
Christmas/New Years 12/18/11 Through 01/02/12

Depending on the dates of your trip, you may want to look at the florida weekday annual pass, which is not really much more than the 4 day pass, but allows you entry into any of the 4 parks (including hopping) mon-fri for an entire year. If you plan to go back anytime within a year, it will save you mucho bucks as long as you can arrange to be there on weekdays. Same blackout days apply.

I was considering this option for our family, but was curious when the year starts...when I buy the tickets OR can I ask them to start the year when I first trip would be which is in September? I think it would be perfect for us since it's cheaper than the 3 day pass for us and we're going this September during the weekday only.

Any annual pass that you purchase at WDW is active at the time of purchase. However, if you purchase an Exchange Certificate at an AAA office or you do an online or telephone purchase the effective date is the date it is activated (first used).
