My computer has been acting up so I haven't been on much!
My Daughter- 10 is looking forward to meeting someone togo to the clubs and pool with.

We may be going to the Atlantis. Our DS- 11 would love the Aquarium. I need to check into the pass for that and the slides would be fun too. I am sure he would very much like to buddy up with your daughter. He loved the lab/club and the pool too. We are in the initial stages of packing. I am so excited for the vacation to begin. My computer is acting up today too. We have terribly stormy conditions-state of emergency and all that and the internet went out. The lights flickered today, but we didn't loose power. Somehow a response I submitted today didn't go through. I need a little help with weather and packing. I will plan for a wide range of conditions, but would appreciate very much some Orlando and Bahama weather/temps firsthand-oh I loved typing Bahama. So excited for our trip.

So excited. I don't know how next Saturday will be if I am this over the moon right now. This cruise will be a total surprise for our kiddos. We are going to tell/show them NEXT SUNDAY!!! When you wish upon a star is playing over and over in my mind and heart. Oh I can hardly wait. Breathe, I just keep saying breathe.

The cruise is a surprise for my girls, too. Since they know the route to Port Canaveral, I am going to tell them we are going to Jetty Park to see the ships leave and go to the beach. That should trick them. They probably won't understand why grandma and grandpa are coming, but oh well....

I sure hope you can surprise the kids, it will be so worth it to see their faces when they realize they are cruising.

I repacked my clothes yesterday and now I only have my last minute things to throw in the suitcase. My brother hasn't packed a thing!

I will be glad when this week is over. I have a ton of stuff to do!

For those of you who are planning on coming to the dismeet, at 3:00 at Pinnochio's Pizzeria (isn't that the name?), deck nine midship, I will be wearing a red polo (my disney polo and jeans) and I will most likely be having a pina colada of some configuration.

Hi cruisers...
just a question I can't seem to locate an answer for.

We have our on board accounts set up to go to our CCard. We can settle that in cash, correct? If so, how/when do we do that? Or, would it be easier to just use our check card instead?

I'm pretty sure they will accept cash at Guest Services (desk 3 midships).
It might be best to go there when you first thing after you board. I've found that once your bill gets above a certain amount, they may charge the amount due mid-cruise. I think that they could reverse these charges (if they do that still) if you want to pay cash. I'm not sure about whether checks are accepted at Guest Services.

I booked connecting SPH rooms for this cruise back when they were first available. My confirmed full payment documents from the TA back in September showed these staterooms.

So, I'm doing some final check to make sure that I have everything and one of the set of luggage tags has a 6136 on it. I checked on line and sure enough one of our rooms was changed from 5524 to 6137. While this is a nice upgrade from a SPH to a navigator verandah, but it is one deck up, the other side of the ship, and aft. the two staterooms are now very far apart.

We need connecting staterooms so I have left a message for the travel agent to fix this. Now, I don't mind an upgrade as long they are connecting staterooms.

Plus, we assume it is much too late to get new luggage tags, so we hope they get routed to the correct place. I believe DCL is really good at fixing these sort of problems, so I'll let you know the results at the 3:00pm meet.

Hey, if anyone has a rental car reserved with Alamo with a Dec. 15 pickup, go check your rates, mine went down nearly 40 dollars today for a five day rental.

I am all packed except for last minute stuff and ready for the fun to begin. This has certainly been a stressful week so far. I am glad that it is almost time for the cruise.
