Our had a 4 day trip to DW, and as usual loved it!

Day 1 - 4/13:
We arrived at Orlando airport around 11:30am. We grabbed our luggage and had lunch in the food court. We then got our car and drove to our first stay at BLT! Our son fell asleep in the car from the airport, so we stopped at the Publix in Williamsburg to do some shopping. At BLT, we had a lakeview studio room on the 11th floor - and loved it. We arrived at 2:30, and the room wasn't ready yet, so our 3 1/2 year old son wanted to ride the monorail. After that we hit the pool. After unpacking and getting our stroller (we rented), our son and daughter wanted to do more swimming, and we did so until about 5:30. We then went got dressed and headed over to a 6:30 reservation at Chef Mickey's - a favorite! We did some shopping first, and then got our seats. The meal was pretty good - and we stayed for a while so our son got to meet all the characters twice. We got back to the room, and since we had left early in the morning, the family started to crash.

After everyone was asleep, I grabbed my laptop and went to the Contemporary's pool - which was trying out free wireless internet. I had a few things to clean up at work - and this worked out very nice. Warm weather, beautiful night, being at DW - I could get used to working that way! I saw the EWP too! After finishing, I got in the car and drove around the property - which I always love to do - great way to end the day.

Day 2: MK
Today was EMH, so my daughter, son and myself walked over at opening - and let my wife sleep in. We hit Dumbo, Indy Race cars, Teacups, Winnie the Pooh (loved the queue), got a fast pass for Peter Pan, then did Small World, the Carousel, Philharmagic, and the Peter Pan. The crowds were low - and great! We then walked into Frontier land and got fast passes for Splash Mountain (for later), walked through Adventureland and went to the Laugh Floor. It was getting near lunch time, and my son had about enough - so we walked back to the BLT (Love being able to walk to the hotel!) He fell asleep on the walk back in the stroller!

My now 13 year old daughter and I went to the Contempo Cafe and got lunch for everyon (it was very good), and we all ate on our proch in the room. After that we hit the pool again for a little bit.

We left the room about 3:00 and took the monorail back into the MK. We got there just after the parade finished (which was too bad), so we hopped on the train (another favorite of my son's) and got off at Frontierland. We the all did Splash Mountain (first time for my son) - and we all loved it! It was such a hit we had to get him a t-shirt! We then did the Country Bears, got a fast pass for the Jungle Cruise, and ate a Pecos Bills. Had the Taco salad and loved it! We then rode Pirates and did a bunch of shopping there (as usual, probably our favorite store), and the did the Jungle Cruise. On our way out, my daughter got a coupld fast passes for Space Mountain - and then we got on the monorail.

We got back to the room and our son fell asleep, and since the MK was open till midnight (it was just after 9:00 now), my daughter an I walked back.

We got in just as the first running the Main St Electrical parade was finishing up, got a fast pass for Space Mountain, and used our earlier one to ride - and loved it as usual! We then did the Teacups and then the Haunted Mansion (love that new queue too!). The fireworks were near the end when we got off, so we jogged -and then ran! - to BTMRR to beat any fireworks crowds - and did! I love that ride at night. We then went back to Tommorland and rode Space Mountain again. We were getting tired, so we left, as people were getting ready for the 11:00 parade to come to main st. My daughter hit the sack, and I went back to the Contemporary pool for a little bit to check work. Busy day!

Day 3 - AK:
It was Friday, and we hit AK at opening. Went right to Everest and got a FP, then rode it in the stand by line (just my daughter and I). We then did the Maharajeh Trek, and the did Kali! My son got soaked - but was ok! We stopped at the outdoor restaruant near Kali, and my wife and son got a drink and ate some food - while I got an FP for Kilamanjaro Safari and then my daughter and I rode Everest again. We then all went to the Safari and rode it - fun as always.

We went for lunch at Pizzafari (love it), and then decided to try ITTBAB - which didn't got to well. My son and I waited outside for my wife and daughter. We were all hot and getting tired, so my wife and daughter went shopping, and my son an I got pictures with Winnie the Pooh, Eeyore, and Tigger! We then headed out to our car.

Got back to BLT and went swimming for the rest of the afternoon. We have stayed at CSR a number of times, and my wife loves the Pepper Market, so we drove there and ate. Love the CSR as well. Got back to BLT, and hit the pool some more, and then all crashed.

Day 4 - Leaving and DTD:
Today was the last day, so we got breakfast from the Contempo, packed, walked around BLT and the Contemporary some more, and headed out around 11. We went to DTD (where our son fell asleep in the car). We drove to Golde Oaks to check that out, then came back to DTD for the Charchters in Flight. Unfortunately it was pretty windy, so we didn't get to do it. We had lunch reservations at T-Rex - a first - and though it was pretty good. After eating, shopping, and playing in their version of the "Boneyard", we got in the car and hit the beach!

It was a great trip - too short though! This was just before the Easter break (week before Easter) - and the crowds were great, as was the weather. Stroller rental worked out great again - can't wait to go back!
