First time EVER to do a trip report, but here it goes.

The flight in was on time and I had yourride pick us up at the airport in a limo. This was a surprise for the kids, and it went great. I am a very thrifty person, so they never expected this!!! Their faces were great!!! We acted like little kids in the limo, taking pictures of everything, but it was so cool. Arrived at HRH and checked in. It was late, kids were hungry to we ordered up room service. Was so so food, and expensive but we were tired and hungry so it worked for us. The hotel is soooo neat. I am very glad we stayed there. The beds were soft, just like everyone says, and the roll away was the best roll away bed we have ever had. It is a nice mattress, really nice. The room was great. The lobby was great. The pool was really great. Did you get the impression we liked it. By the way, the towel you get at the pool were warm, I felt really special.
We did IOA the first day, US the 2nd day, Sea world the 3rd day and our favorites at IOA the last morning. We loved all the parks. The room key worked perfect for us. We ate meals at City Walk and we really enjoyed the food there. I am glad we did not do the counter stuff and the parks. We ate at Hard Rock, NBA, Jimmy Buffet, and Nascar. City Walk was so clean, and fun to stroll in the evening. I guess I will just finish with tips I think of the most!!
Best things we would do again........
1. HRH is great
2. Limo ride a big plus
3.Stay on sight for sure
4.Eat at City Walk several times
5. Take lots of film
6. Be sure and have cash to buy fish to feed dolpins and sting rays at Sea World, Kids will love that
7. Have tickets bought ahead, so you can go straight to park
8.Loved Cirque de Souel
9.Go ahead and stop for all the character you see on street,my kids drove me nuts, but just got the pictures back and they are so cute with the kids in them
Not to do again......
1.room service at HRH , expensive and not that good

Glad you had a great time.

We have used yourride our last 2 trips, I surprised my daughter with the limo ride, she was so excited. It was the highlight of her trip!!!

Did you have the beautiful white stretch limo????

Patty

Yes we did. The driver was so nice and he said the limo was only 9 months old. It looked brand new. Wasn't the roof cool? It look like stars in the sky. My little boy was really impressed with the tube of lights that kept changing colors.

Glad you had a good time, can't wait for our trip. Thanks for posting the report. How do I reserve a limo with Yourride? How much was it? Do they have an online coupon like Tiffany?

I'd love to book a limo for our trip in August - what does it cost?
Is it much more than Tiffany Town Car?

Yes, there is a coupon I believe still on their web site. I paid 125.00 round trip to Universal's Hard Rock. I had read on these sites that a lady had only paid 110.00, but they told me that was a promotion special. I was quoted higher, something like 175.oo or so, but I begged, and he gave me the 125.00. It was a blast. I cant remember what Tiffaney Town Car quoted me. I would just call around, you never know what specials are out there. I would not normally spend that much, but it was worth it. I really surprised them all , and it starts the trip out on a really high note, and when you are sad you have to leave and go home, you feel special again.

You're a nice parent springing for that limo! I bet it was fun seeing the kids faces. Sounds like you had a ball. Thanks for posting!

I paid $110 twice, once in Jan and again in April, guess that promo is over.

We'll still use Yourride again!!!

Patty

Did you use Yourride to get to Sea World too? If not, may I ask how you got there (and how much it cost)?

I think we're going to surprise our DD with the limo on our next trip, but I'm wondering about the additional cost for Sea World (we always rent a car).

sbclifton,
If you are staying at one of the Universal hotels, they have a free shuttle service to SeaWorld.

gschmerl,

I didn't know that! Thank you for that information. Our intention is to try out the Hard Rock Hotel (hope that FOTL sticks around).

Sheila

We stayed at the Hard Rock Hotel and used the shuttle to Sea World. It worked fine. It was a little late to the posted time, but no need to pay. Be sure and do the rides first at Sea World, they get very crowded later on. My kids did them several times, then we did the rest of Sea World.

Fortunately, we've been to both Sea World and Universal lots of times before (just haven't done Kraken -sp?- yet). We watched HRH go up, and DD has been wanting to stay there since they opened. Now I'm going to have to watch for cheap rates, since I'll need two rooms. We used an earlier version of Universal Express the last time we were there and loved it (7 a.m. admittance and FOTL until noon with the FlexTicket). All day FOTL is definitely worth staying onsite for!

How do I get to yourride web page. Tried everything and could not get connected
